You might want to clear the other tables, too:
for x in filter nat mangle raw security ""
do
ip6tables ${x:+-t $x} -F
ip6tables ${x:+-t $x} -X
done

ip6tables on C7
...t back on.
However, I found out something: iptables -L gives the rules,
also....*only* for IPv4; ip6tables -L does the same for only 6. And it
does look as though by shutting down ip6tables, it did turn them off -
ip6tables shows on 8 lines, which are all aCCEPT. I'd been looking at the
o/p of iptalbes-save, and ip6tables-save.
Thanks, though.

IPTABLES rule for separating users

- Are there any good methods to find/audit for duplicated IP addresses?
- Are the any good methods to find/audit for duplicated MAC addresses?
- Are there any good methods to do this IPTALBES rule on Layer2?:
`$ wget -q "http://downloads.openwrt.org/backfire/10.03/ar71xx/packages/" -O - | grep -i ebtables`

p.s.: The rule would be [is it on a good chain?]:
iptables -A FORWARD -m iprange --src-range 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.255 --dst-range 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.255 -j...

Reproducable failure with rsync, iptables and RHEL4
Hello!
I have a consistent, reproducable failure performing an rsync of an
RHEL4 system running rsync in daemon mode with iptables enabled. With
iptables disabled, or with a rule that explicitly allows all traffic,
the rsync completes. However, with iptalbes enabled, the rsync starts,
but will not finish. It fails after copying a seemingly random amount
of data.
I have been able to reproduce this problem using a large variety of
different computers, network switches, network cables, Linux
distributions, kernel versions and rsync versions, install...
