...t back on. However, I found out something: iptables -L gives the rules, also....*only* for IPv4; ip6tables -L does the same for only 6. And it does look as though by shutting down ip6tables, it did turn them off - ip6tables shows on 8 lines, which are all aCCEPT. I'd been looking at the o/p of iptalbes-save, and ip6tables-save. Reproducable failure with rsync, iptables and RHEL4
Hello! I have a consistent, reproducable failure performing an rsync of an RHEL4 system running rsync in daemon mode with iptables enabled. With iptables disabled, or with a rule that explicitly allows all traffic, the rsync completes. However, with iptalbes enabled, the rsync starts, but will not finish. It fails after copying a seemingly random amount of data. Why iptables are not working?
Hi; in our server we dont have "iptables" command! and i am trying to install it with that yum -y install iptables after this command it says that "...nothings to do".
