firewalld management on a headless server
Is there an Apache tool to manage firewalld on a headless server? I am looking forward to my next Centos project which is to replace my Juniper SSG5 firewall... And along that line, what overlap, if any between firewalld and Suricata? thank you

Kernel panic after update
Hi, we have a firewall system under redhat 7.2 with shorewall 1.1-17. The system works very well, without any probs. Now we have installed a new version ... 1.2-13. After the update the systems runs for 2 hours .... and crashes with a kernel panic. We have tried another kernel and iptabes paket but the same problem. Downgrading the system to 1.1-17 .... and it runs stable. So ... what are the basic diffs between 1.1-xx and 1.2-xx .... i have no more ideas what i can try ...... Arvid :=(

firewalld management on a headless server
I recently converted my employer's firewall from pure iptabes to firewalld and looked for something similar, more along the lines of webmin, etc. I didn't find anything close to a match. In the end, it all came down to getting comfortable with "firewall-cmd" in the shell. Haven't used suricata, so nothing to add there. On Mon, Mar 27, 20...

Libvirt exiting and respawning
Hi, I'm trying to use Libvirt with LXC, under Ubuntu 11.04, but I can't get it to work. It keeps exiting and being restarted by upstart. Log file follows. It appears that it is complaining, among other things, of QEMU. I am not running QEMU and would like to disable everything except for LXC, but I am not sure it would fix my issue. I've set the log level to debug, even, but
