One-way audio in incoming calls with Asterisk + OpenGK + Innovaphone IP3000
Hello everybody, I?ve been pulling my hair for a week now over a problem, and I really don?t know where to look anymore. Here?s my setup: There is an Innovaphone IP3000 VoIP gateway on the LAN (10.253.30.254). I can use it to send and receive calls from physical phones attached to it. I have setup Asterisk 1.0.3, with H323 and openH323, and on the same server I also setup GnuGK (10.253.30.1). I use SIP soft phones connected to the Asterisk (SJphone). Both the In...

IP Conference Units?
Hi - We have a couple of large spaces that we'd like to cover with dedicated conference units like the Polycom Soundstation IP3000. We're concerned about adequately covering the spaces, though, one of which is very long and narrow. I wanted to get external add-on microphones for the IP3000, but I've found that unlike some of their other conference products, it does not have this capability. Has anyone used an IP3000...

One way audio [Asterisk + Innovaphone IP3000 + asterisk-oh323/h323]
Hello everybody, I?ve been trying to solve a problem for several weeks now but it really beats me. There are several hard phones connected to an Innovaphone 3000 VoIP gateway. On the other side I have a SIP softphone connected to Asterisk. The problem I have is that on incoming calls (hardphones to softphone) I only have outgoing audio (from soft to hardphone); everything is OK when I call the

The scariest set up of all: Printer Support
My experience with printers is that of all the peripherals, regardless of OS, they are the trickiest to install, configure, and use. So I'm expecting a battle here. What I have is a Canon Pixus iP3100. It's a Japanese model, but it's the same model as the US Canon Pixma iP3000, just a different name. First, I plugged in the USB cable. CentOS seemed to detect it, and gave me a list of options. Neither the US model number nor Japanese model number was there, so I selected "Canon (unknown)". It spent a while installing, and then finished without any message to...

memory usage
Hi I am currently trying to port speex v1.1.6 to a microcontroller with very limited memory (<64Kbyte RAM). what I found when initialising the encoder, a chunk of 32Kb was attempted to be alloced, which failed: src/nb_celp.c: void *nb_encoder_init(const SpeexMode *m) { /* snip */ st = (EncState*)speex_alloc(sizeof(EncState)+8000*sizeof(spx_sig_t)); /* snip */ } same goes for the

SIP "unphones"
Does anyone know if there are additional SIP devices out there which aren't phones? I'm basically looking for a fully-automatic SIP speakerphone. I'd like to be able to dial a sip-extension and make an announcement (PA) and/or simply listen in to a room (baby-monitor). Yes, I know, some of the more advanced phones can be configured to behave like that, but it seems to a waste of
