Basic connection between Mitel 3300 ICP and Asterisk (trixbox) - from a clueless newbie....
...up Asterisk in our head office (for business continuity, ie we have a bird flu epidemic and no-one can come in, therefore use SIP softphones at home to co-ordinate activity) and at a remote site in the Isle of Man (connected via 2Mbps SDSL) Ideally we'd like anyone on either Asterisk servers (IOM and London) to be able to dial anyone internally on the Mitel 3300 and vice-versa. We have got *one* SIP license so far for the Mitel for testing purposes. I am a bit crap on telephony, but as I have gathered so far we should be able to connect the two systems via either QSIG (with an appropriate...

Problems with subsets in NLME
...stance ~ age + Sex, data = Orthodont, random = ~ 1, subset=1:107) The second estimation works. Does anyone know if there is another work-around? (I have also e-mailed the package maintainers, but one of the e-mails bounced, so I am trying this list as well.) Thank you! NaN as a parameter in NLMINB optimization
...similar) likelihood functions. (They are complicated, but I can send them to someone if desired.) Is this something that can happen with NLMINB, perhaps because of a 0/0 in the gradient calculations? Or is it unique to my code? Thanks in advance! SAS to R - if you have SAS 8.2+
Hi there, the attached R function uses the SAS Integrated Object Model (IOM) and it can deal with SAS dates and long variable names. All you need to provide is the folder where the SAS data file is and the data file name without the extension. The function requires the rcom package. This is meant to be first cut...but improvements and suggestions are more than welcome! G...
