icecast and shout
...pass2 encrypted.
I put the pass2 in to the /etc/icecast/icecast.conf and then started it with
icecast -p pass1
Then i put pass2 in to the /etc/icecast/shout.conf
I have tried all variations about having the password in the shout.conf
but it always says.

Samba 3 Trust Relationship with Win2008 AD problem
...win2008 "Active Directory Trusts and Domains", when i validate the
2 way trust, I get the message "The trust has been validated.It is in place
and active." The trusts are good.

Country numbering plan resources
Is there any good free / accurate online resources with detailed country
numbering plans? Failing that let's get something running ourselves.
I was also thinking maybe people present could contribute some information on
this list for now. The countries I am after are below.

Source safe on Samba, and corruption
hi,
recently we tried moving our large source safe databases to samba.
After a day of use, the databases started showing signs of corruption
(strange error messages from the SS client). However, it was discovered that
the server was using a very sick ethernet port, so we guess that might be the
reason for the corruption (sourcesafe is a really lame product but we cannot
migrate away from it just
