dovecot 1.1.beta3 crashes on NetBSD/sparc64 4.0_RC3 with Thunderbird 2.0.0.6
...->next is, but it sure doesn't look like a struct
io_file. It doesn't even look like a struct io. Part of the garbage in
*io->next is the char sequence "/vol/home/lloyd/Maildir/new" which is
part of my mail box.
*io is not in the doubly linked list in current_io_look->io_files. I'm
guessing that this object has been unlinked already. Some further
digging (not shown here) shows that io->callback is notify_callback. It
is set to NULL by the time imap crashes.
Here are all the gory GDB details:

kqueue crash on FreeBSD with 2.2.25
Hi,
2.2.25 crashes on FreeBSD with a kqueue-related message. I see references to something similar (http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2012-February.txt) from a couple years ago.
I get:

It's not dumping core, and I get the message even with "protocols ="

Segfault in dovecot 1.2rc2 with quota + public namespace enabled
Hi,
I have configured a public namespace ("#Shared"). Since dovecot 1.2rc2
(1.1.11 worked fine) I get a segfault, if I try to access a folder
under this namespace when quota plugin is enabled. When the quota
plugin is disabled, accessing those folders works.

Dovecot 1.1rc3 crashes with Dbox + imap_quota plugin
Version: Dovecot v1.1.rc3
OS: CentOS 5 running in OpenVZ
CPU: x86_64
Was running fine with maildir and decided to get dbox a try. Test user
created with a dbox mailstore backend and when a client logs in that tries
to run a getquotaroot imap command the process SIGSEGV's.
Have been able to narrow it down to dbox crashing against dict quota as
well as dirsize. Maildir works just fine.

error in 1.1.2
Ive been getting a LOT of these errors since 1.1.2: So far ive seen this
with 1800 customers, and we're getting active complaints about errors in
imap clients. When I check the users log I always see this error..
This always happens with COPY commands in Squirrelmail.

coredump while accessing virtual folder with dovecot 2.0
Hi,
I get a core dump with 2.0.beta6 (573cb66e9180) when I access virtual
folders with the master user. Since ACLs are active I have to set a global
ACL in .DEFAULTS to access all folders.
Coredump:
Core was generated by `dovecot/imap'.

1.1.2 segfaults when using passdb passwd and md5 mechanism
Setting passdb to passwd and enabling cram-md5 or digest-md5 makes
dovecot crash.
The documentation says that I can use md5 with passwd. I had to use
strace to figure it, because dovecot segfaults and doesn't log the
error.
Using CenOS 5.2 x86_64

Miguel

Hi Timo,
I have another problem, this time with user shared folders:
User "markus" shared the folder "ForTest" to test:

dovecot-acl and shared-mailboxes.db have been successfully updated.
As user "test" the folder (and "#User" namespace) is not visible.
