[PATCH] Arch-neutral balloon driver
Attached patch makes the balloon driver arch-neutral
(compiles on ia64... look ma, no #ifdef''s!). Please apply
to xen-unstable.
One change should be eyeballed, line 257 in balloon.c, because
phys_to_machine_mapping[pfn] is not identical to pfn_to_mfn
(different by sign bit, should be OK?)

[PATCH] xen/grant-table: Refactor gnttab_[un]map_refs to avoid m2p_override
(This is a continuation of "[PATCH v9] xen/grant-table: Avoid m2p_override
during mapping")
The grant mapping API does m2p_override unnecessarily: only gntdev needs it,
for blkback and future netback patches it just cause a lock contention, as
those pages never go to userspace. Therefore this series does the following:
- the bulk of the original function (everything after the mapping

[PATCH] Support cross-bitness guest when core-dumping
This patch allows core-dumping to work on a cross-bit host/guest configuration, whereas previously that was not supported. It supports both PV and FV guests. The core file format generated by the host, needs to match that of the guest, so an alignment issue is addressed, along with the p2m frame list handling being done according to the guest size.

FreeBSD netfront.c / problem
Hello!
I''m working on a guest OS port which uses NetBSD drivers, and I''m
currently working on the netfront support. I''m basing the driver on
the FreeBSD 7.0 driver, and I''ve run into a problem in
network_alloc_rx_buffers.
Parts of the code with line numbers is given below, and I''ll try to
explain where the problem occurs.
The basic problem is that

acpidump crashes on some machines
Hi,
we have some problems with acpidump running on Xen Dom0. On 64 bit Dom0
it will trigger the OOM killer, on 32 bit Dom0s it will cause a kernel
crash.
The hypervisor does not matter, I tried 4.1.3-rc2 as well as various
unstable versions including 25467, also 32-bit versions of 4.1.
The Dom0 kernels were always PVOPS versions, the problems starts with
3.2-rc1~194 and is still in 3.5.0-rc3.

DMA not enabled in Xen Kernel?
I installed Xen using the binary release on debian sarge and got it to boot
no problem but when I check if dma is enabled with ''hdparm /dev/hda'' it''s
not.
I can''t enable it either with ''hdparm -d1 /dev/hda''. Says operation not
permited. Using my debian default kernel dma works just fine.
How can I enable dma with the Xen Kernel?
Thanks!

[PATCH v8 0/19] enable swiotlb-xen on arm and arm64
Hi all,
this patch series enables xen-swiotlb on arm and arm64.
It has been heavily reworked compared to the previous versions in order
to achieve better performances and to address review comments.
We are not using dma_mark_clean to ensure coherency anymore. We call the
platform implementation of map_page and unmap_page.
We assume that dom0 has been mapped 1:1 (physical address ==

[PATCH] various Xen fixes for v3.6 (v1).
I am working on some other bugs and perf issues - and while working I noticed
that both sparse and Coverity have reported some issues with Xen drivers.
Please see attached various bug-fixes that I am proposing for 3.6.

[PATCH 00/12] Xen arch portability patches (take 4)
Hi Jeremy.
According to your suggestion, I recreated patches for Ingo's x86.git tree.
And this patch series includes Eddie's modification.
Please review and forward them. (or push back to respin.)
Recently the xen-ia64 community started to make efforts to merge
xen/ia64 Linux to upstream. The first step is to merge up domU portion.
This patchset is preliminary for xen/ia64 domU linux

[PATCH 0/3] xen: more portability patches
Hi Jeremy.
Here are the 3 patches for ia64/xen support.
The first one is just to move manage.c under drivers/xen.
This is trivial.
The second and third ones are for compilation fix on ia64.
You may want to postpone those 2 patches to make your merge task
easy as you said before.
thanks,

[PATCH 0/5] dump-core take 2:
The following dump-core patches changes its format into ELF,
adds PFN-GMFN table, HVM support, and adds experimental IA64 support.
- ELF format
Program header and note section are adopted.
- HVM domain support
To know the memory area to dump, XENMEM_set_memory_map is added.
XENMEM_memory_map hypercall is for current domain, so new one is created.

[RFC 00/14] arm: implement ballooning and privcmd foreign mappings based on x86 PVH
This series implements ballooning for Xen on ARM and builds and Mukesh''s
PVH privcmd stuff to implement foreign page mapping on ARM, replacing
the old "HACK: initial (very hacky) XENMAPSPACE_gmfn_foreign" patch.
The baseline is a bit complex, it is basically Stefano''s xenarm-forlinus
branch (commit bbd6eb29214e) merged with Konrad''s linux-next-pvh branch

[PATCH RESEND 0/1] libxl: introduce an option for disabling the non-O_DIRECT
I think I posted this patch before, but it looks like it was in
December 2012 (!).
1/1 libxl: introduce an option for disabling the non-O_DIRECT workaround
Ideally it would go into 4.4, at least. Provided the corresponding
qemu part has gone into qemu-xen, which I think it has. Can anyone
confirm ?
