I bumped the version number of vorbis-tools and am preparing it for an eventual release in a few days. A changelog of what's new may be found at [1]. Meanwhile, what's in SVN is a "Release Candidate" to find out if anything was broken since version 1.1.1. I dunno. I guess it could be. Went to the Gimp site and saw that glib-devel was mentioned there. My tired old brain is a bit confused by this, since most other -devel packages put -devel following the program/package name, and gimp doesn't. I am unable to install R on an up to date (i.e. apt upgraded) Ubuntu 14.04 system. According to https://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu/README (and many other sources), R is available for this version of Ubuntu (which is a stable version).
