This way, people could install syslinux with -d /slax/boot/ and then syslinux would find its config file even in /slax/subdir/, without any additional patches (which I am currently forced to do). Is thi...

...it's limited to powers of 2, is it safe to enable "Round ps_size down to the nearest power of two" in the preproc ? can we do the same trick with the echo-canceller for window_size ? - are there buffers who could be placed in scratch memory ? But the echo-canceller and preprocessor don't use it. I suppose they also have some scratch buffers. (comments in SpeexEchoState_ struc...

Centos 4.0 and Named
I am failing to get Named started. I copied my named.custom and zone files to a diskette from my 3.3 build. I installed 4.0 from scratch and did the updates. I edited /etc/named.conf (which I realize is a link) to include named.custom I cp named.custom into /etc (all of this was done while logged in as root) When I try to start named from the services GUI (using GNOME) and I get this error:

After reading into the many articles on Ruby/ROR, have to admit looks pretty good so far. Really serious about getting into this and possibly developing some good Web 2.0 applications. Just wondering the best way to learn Ruby on
