more or less pager
...on (Debian/GNU Linux). Maybe it is my
configuration, but i don't think so because with help() it works
## Default pager
PAGER=${PAGER-'/usr/bin/less'}
But i think it really is because R-users apparently don't look at
dataframes with more than, say, 24 rows. I always seem to be intetrested
in column names with some rows of data, so often I type
> data[1,]
just to see what the columns were called again.
In order to circumvent the problem of data running off the screen, I've
made a simple hack:

tmp <- paste("/tmp/R", floor(runif(1,...

This is just for a test, if 'getent' now works, the problem lines in

From NT4-PDC to Samba-PDC: 2.2.7a or 3.0.0-beta-x?
....2.7a and then migrate when official
packages are available for my distribution (MDK)?
Should I go for "jsurt Samba"? Or should I go for Samba+LDAP? (pros/cons?)
Is there anything special to have in mind when migrating existing users from
NT4 to Samba?
So far, I've collected those intetresting links:

Sample smb.conf for ADs authentication
Hello,
I am trying to configure samba on a Centos 7.5 linux server ( Samba 4.8.3
) to share files stored on that server to a set of windows PCs running win7
and win10.
Some facts:
- the linux server is NOT the domain controller but it successfully
joined the domain ( realm join ...).
- we have a few linux servers on which we will want to configure samba in a
similar way to share files.
- the
