Can anyone suggest some r packages for Experimental Designs, specifically for choice and conjoint??? (or is intersted in helping me make 1)
Afternoon everyone, I''ve spent the last week or so looking at all the experimental design packages I can find in R. AlgDesign, design.conf and BHH2 being the best one I could find. Unfortunately none of these do a particularly good job for complex designs, in particular for conjoint or discrete choice. (or perhaps they do, and I can''t make them work correctly)

Start recording during call by pressingbutton sequence
...r the input. This would cover it, however it is not stealth. In some cases, you may want it to be stealth. Again, my state allows me to do this, but some states do not. I've done a little searching and could not find an answer. Basically, to simplify the question: When is it legal to record interstate calls without giving notice, when the recording party is in a one-party consent state?" As long as notice is given to all parties, it is always legal from my understanding. evince
We have some small networks with connectivity to the Internet through firewall routers.? The smallest has one Windows 7 system and three Linux systems including both CentOS 6 and CentOS 7 machines.? The Windows 7 systems have full Adobe packages that are updated regularly and are trouble free. On the Linux systems, evince has been our go to product for viewing and printing .pdf documents.? This

HMV + linux no network interface
Hi, I have installed xen 3.0.3 on gentoo 2006.1 The machine is a laptop with amd turion x2 ML-60. I can boot into xen, xend stars normally. When I try to boot a linux livecd using HVM, there is no network interface (I used several different linux distributions). It''s not a driver problem, since the hardware is not even listed on dmesg log. While booting the livecd there is a message :

Does wxRuby include Gizmos controls?
Hi, I''m starting to use wxRuby for personal projects. Originally, I used wxPython in my company because they don''t want to install the Ruby environment just for me... But at home, I still prefer the Ruby language... So, wxWidgets is a great library, but wxPythons add some intersting stuff. I''m specially interested by the TreeListCtrl. it seems that this control belongs to Gizmos C++ library. I''m wondering if the Gizmos library is included in wxRuby or do you plan to include it soon? Local Moran's I / Getis and Ord and Rousseauw Cluster Algorithms
Sorry for the repetition, unless I've got bad deja vu this questions been asked before but I couldn't turn up an answer on CRAN. Is there already any code in existence for local dependence measures such as Moran's I or Getis and Ord G? Also, S-Plus has a number of interstingly named Cluster Algorithms based on some previous stand-alone fortran algorithms (agnes, daisy etc.) which have some interesting features (such as fuzzy clustering, and some potentially useful validation techniques). Are there any major obstacles to getting these to run under R? Dzienkuje Pa...

Suitable for Dynamic IVR Platform?
New to asterisk so please be gentle. I'm guessing I'm among a number of recent additions to the list after the article in Linux Mag. I gotta say I'm *very* intersted in the project and will be doing lots of reading shortly. A couble quick questions first... How suitable is Asterisk for use as an IVR providing callers with textual data out of a database? Can it be combined easily with something like Festival (festvox.org) to read text to callers? Anybody d...

[LLVMdev] Building LLVM as a shared library on MinGw (Makefiles)
The shared library works fine here. I only made one modification to the 'tools/llvm-shlib/Makefile', because otherwise, two shared libraries would be created. I've commented out the line 'SHARED_ALIAS := 1' from the Makefile. Here is the command line i used to build LLVM/Clang: ../../configure --build=i686-w64-mingw32 --disable-assertions --enable-keep-symbols
