how to draw stacked ellipses to illustrate the shared and specific of multiple objects using R
Dear R-help listers,
I am now asking for helps on how to draw stacked ellipses to
illustrate the shared and specific of multiple objects using R.
My problem comes from my population genetics study. Now, I genotyped
three species, and I get known about the amount of shared and specific
haplotypes in each of the species and their combinations. I want to
illustrate this result in three stack

venn diagram in percentage
Hi,
I am a beginner with "R" and found a package "venn" to create a venn
diagram. I tried this “venn” function to generate venn diagram, but i need
*Percentage values* instead of counts(frequency) in the oval(circles) of
Venn diagram. Output :

Data transformation & cleaning
Hi,
I have a few methodological and implementation questions for ya'll. Thank
you in advance for your help. I have a dataset that reflects people's
preference choices. I want to see if there's any kind of clustering effect
among certain preference choices (e.g. do people who pick choice A also pick
choice D).
I have a data set that has one record per user ID, per preference choice.

frequency table?
Hello R-users,
I've got a file with individuals as colums and the clusters where they occur
in as rows. And I wanted a table which tells me how many times each
individual occurs with another. I don't really know how such a table is
called...it is not a frequency table....My eventual goal is to make
Venn-diagrams from the occurence of my individuals.
So I've this:

proportional area venn diagrams?
In http://finzi.psych.upenn.edu/R/Rhelp02a/archive/14637.html
some rudimentary R functions were given for drawing
proportional area venn diagrams with area of each intersection ~ the
count in a 2 x 2 x 2 table.
I'm interested in this, for another application: showing the
correlations among Y, X1, X2 using
area ~ r^2 of each pair (sometimes called a Ballantine diagram).

combine venn diagram and pie chart
Hi R users,
I am wondering if it there is any R's function helping integrate venn
diagram and pie chart to compare two related datasets.
I know the package limma(bioconductor) has something built-in for making
venn diagram, but I guess it would be very painful to use line and text to
specify the proportions in the fashion of pie chart .
Thanks in advance,
Kevin Chang

I do a Venn Diagram with the data below .... ps ( it was generated by a csv,
where every line is sep with (";")) Can someone helps me ?

: unusual combinations of categorical data
Regarding unusual combinations of factors in categorical data.
Are there any R packages that can be used to identify the outliers i.e.
unusual combinations in categorical datasets ?
Thanks.

Type of Graph to use
Hi,
Please advice on what type of graph can be used to display the following
data set.
I have the following:
Name Class
a Class 1
a Class4
b Class2
b Class1
d Class3
d Class5
e Class4
e Class2
So each entry in name can belong to more than one class. I want to represent
the data as to see where

graph with 15 combinations
Dear R helpers,
I have a data set with 4 types (W, C, E & S). Now I have values for all
types plus all possible combinations (the order is unimportant): W, C,
WC, E, WE, CE, WCE, S, WS, CS, WCS, ES, WES, CES & WCES. Ideally I would
like to represent everything in one graph and as concise as possible.
Drawing 4 circles and depicting it as overlap just gives me 13 out of
the 15
