Hello!
I just compiled rsync 2.6.0 on SFU 3.5 and it works :-)
Did somebody test it for real work?
Thank you!

diff for Interix port for -portable
...to compile under Interix (the Windows Posix layer updated in the new Services For Unix release). The bulk of it is removing the hardcoded root UID and GID. If someone is interested in this, I'd be happy to send a diff (though anyone can inspect the changes by grabbing the package from ftp://ftp.interopsystems.com/src/openssh/openssh-3.7.1p2-interix themselves.) It would be nice to see this building with a vanilla package, since openssh is such a crucial piece of software.

is ONLY supported on Windows NT.
Is there any other openware SSH Server for Windows 2003 Server?

[LLVMdev] POSIX compliance
...be partially Posix

I've discussed this subject with the support staff from Interix:
http://www.interopsystems.com/tools/forum/tm.asp?m=3336&mpage=1&key=ഌ
As I see it: Interix supports: POSIX.1, POSIX.2 and Single UNIX
Specification (SUS).
However, the general rule is to use the define _ALL_SOURCE when compiling
the source.
This is the behavior I've succeded with Interix till now....
