Sipura 2000 intermitent failure to register
I have asterisk 1.0.2 and a Sipura SPA-2000 (firmware 2.0.6(c) ).
Today it started to log "registration failed" at intermitent periods.
It registers fine, after a few minutes it can no longer register, then
after a few minutes it registers fine again.
I am wondering if there is a known issue with either asterisk or that
sipura firmware.

Intermitent Samba connection problem
...Samba is
using WINS if the WINS server fails to respond within a certain length
of time then these are the types
of errors I will get. Is there somewhere in the smb.conf file that I
can extend the length of time before
it times out? Or is there another problem causing this ?
We have this problem intermitently and it appears to be predominantly a
problem with W9x and W2K.
I don't remember having this type of problem with any of the NT
computers, but about once a month
users on W9x and W2K will start complaining that they are having
problems connecting.
I'm not sure whether to blame this on...

Extremely frustrating intermitant printing problem.
We are running Suse Linux 8.2 with Samba 3.0.0.1 and Cups as our print
server on a network with windows 98 and 2000 clients and HP1300, 2100, 2200
and 4050 printers. We are experiencing an intermitant error whereby the
printer on the client machine will set itself to work off line and sometimes
freeze up the pc when an attempt is made to print from it. This error does
not happen in any consistant way an I have checked the samba and cups logs
and cannot find anything which would seem to relate...

Intermitent ''lost connection to mysql'' error
...thing setup correctly (apache, fcgi, mysql, etc)
I''ve started to run into "lost connection to mysql" errors. I googled
to try and find a solution, but most of the problems people seem to be
having are constant and simple to fix. I haven''t found anyone talking
about intermitent problems. Most of the time, the queries go through
without a hitch, and then suddenly, I get the error page saying it lost
connection.
If anyone can help, I''d appreciate it. I can post the exact error
message if need be, but I wasn''t gonna send them if I don''t h...

Home drive and logon scripts intermitently not applied
...am
running Samba 4.0.9 but the very same was happening before the
migration to AD, with Samba 3.x. Most clients are running WinXP SP3
with all updates.
The problem is that both the logon script and home drive defined on
the "Profile" tab on the AD Users and Computers MMC, *RANDOMLY* and
*INTERMITENTLY* does not run. This happpens randonmly on any PC of the
50 I have here, regardless of the software they have installed.
Most times this fails immediately after the PC is turned on. The user
is able to login properly but no logon scripts or home drive. If the
user then logs off and logs in aga...

Intermitant delays on call setup.
We are seeing this weird problem, it seems to happen at random periods
throughout the day from a few minuets to a up to an hour.
[Phone A] >--SIP--> [Asterisk] >--SIP--> [Phone B]
Both phones are snom 360's.
Asterisk is Stable 1.0.9
Pretty simple config, just a dial direct to each other like

Intermitent voice issues
Hi all and thanks for reading.
I am experiencing a frustrating issue with asterisk where on some
calls the volume suddenly drops to inaudible o completely fades away
for a time. If you hold on long enough (20 to 30 seconds) the sound
will come back.
My asterisk server is on a public IP, and basically acts as a VoIP
bridge receiving calls from my customers (all of whom use Grandstream

Intermitent loss of contact with Win95 share.
Hello :
One Win95 client, connected over a SLIP connection to an SCO Openserver 5.0
has been working fine until System Administrator has updated OS Version to
Unixware 7.1.0.
On this server (Unixware 7.1.0) , I've installed Samba 2.0.2 to access all
Win9x shares.
All shares on the LAN (connected via TP 10Mb cards) work fine, but when I
print any job to Win95 client connected via SLIP

[scriptaculous] Intermitently Disabling Clicks
I have button that slides down a menu using Effect.BlindDown, but the
function that slides it down also makes it so that the opening link
now slides the menu back in.
If the user double clicks the link (thuse opening & closing
immediatley) the slide animation breaks, then will not extend
correctly (but no JS errors). How would you go about stopping this
happening?
Also, is it just me or is

Intermitent winbind failure resolving groups via nss
Hi all,
I have 2 Linux machines running winbind attached to a Windows 2003
server in AD mode to resolve users and groups via nss (nscd is disabled
for passwd and group info).
In an intermittent way winbind stops resolving group names, for instance
the 'id' command returns just the GID and no name for the primary user
group and executables trying to resolve members of groups cannot find
the groups by name.
For instance 'id' returns

intermitent domain logon failures
I have an issue where at odd times, maybe after 3 days, maybe after a
week, people suddenly cant do domain logons. Unfortunately the machine
is 50km away so i'm sure theres more details I can glean once I can
interogate the users a bit more.
Things I have noticed:
Anyone currently logged in can still work fine.
A restart of samba fixes the issue (till it hapens next).

network intermitent, not sure if virtualization issue
...My question, would this be a setting on the VM as a webserver, some new
centos 6 setting that just
times out network when not in use? Or something that I did when I bonded
my eth ports and bridged them?
The bond covers the two onboard eth ports and one port from an add on
network card.
It is intermittent, seems to happen whenever, but service network
restart on the webserver
seems to fix it immediately, but it also just fixes itself too.
is there some setting with centos 6 that must be changed to allow
constant 'uptime' of the network?

Intermitent ldap auth problems benchmarking dovecot
Hello
We are using SLAMD (Distributed Load Generation Engine, www.slamd.com) to benchmark our dovecot server (ldap auth). We are simulating 2.000 simultaneous logins and 20% of them fail. We saw the following errors in the log:

GPL PV Intermitent Network Problems
Well, I seem to have developed a strange issue with the GPL PV drivers
in Windows. I''m running Xen 3.2 on SLES 10 SP2 and running some Windows
XP HVM domUs. Most (12-15) of my Windows machines work just fine. Two
of them, though, have started exhibiting a strange behavior with
intermittent network connectivity. Basically, the network starts up and
connects initially. After some random amount of time that varies in
between reboots, it quits working - doesn''t respond to pings and isn''t
able to get access to any network resources at all - cannot ping out,
access...

sessions failing on debian apache2 fast_cgi
...pp to our production server, but I''ve
encountered a number of problems.
Firstly the fast_cgi processes seem to be eating up a hell of a lot of
memory, at times max out our 1gig of RAM. I''ve switched back to cgi for
the moment, but independently of that sessions seem to be failing
intermitently.
The session will hold itself stable for a while, so the user can perform
a few actions, but then the session is expired - at least I can see that
the session id changes.
There were some ruby_sess files in /tmp/ along with a lot of what might
have been cached pages. I wiped the /tmp/ directo...

iax vs iax2 question
I've asked this before but I don't recall seeing anyone respond. Maybe
the answer is so simple that it should jump right out, but its not.
I've got three iax connections defined, two working fine (including one
to iaxtel), and one that is somewhat intermitant. If I do a cli
'iax show registry' and 'iax2 show registry' I see "both" iax and iax2
registrations.
Is there a way for me to config * to always use iax2 (and basically
disallow iax registration), or should I not worry about it?
The intermitant iax site is behind a...

large data set (matrix) using image()
When I use the image() function for a relatively small matrix it works perfectly, eg.x <- 1:100
> z <- matrix(rnorm(10^4),10^2,10^2)
> image(x=x,y=x,z=z,col=rainbow(3))but when I want to plot a larger matrix, it doesn't really work. Most of the times, it just plot a few intermitent points.x <- 1:1000
z <- matrix(rnorm(10^6),10^3,10^3)
image(x=x,y=x,z=z,col=rainbow(3))
Generating the matrix didn't seem to be a problem. I would appreciate any thoughts and ideas.
I have tried using heatmap in bioconductor. However, I want to substitute the dendograms with axes, but...
