unable to edit existing snapshot
Greetings, due to hardware failure I had to replace my workstation which has a different CPU. I have a VM with several snapshots and I need to revert to a specific one. While reverting to it, I get an error due to unsupported CPU features. Therefore, I try to edit the snapshot XML through the command: virsh snapshot-edit <domain_name> <snapshot_name> When I save the changes I get

Difference in Samba and CIFS interms of keeping the deleted files opened
Hi, We have a CIFS server running on a NetApp server and a Solaris host running Samba-3.3.2. When we mount both the filesystems to a Drive on a Windows using the net use command and then try to run a java program which basically does nothing but continuosly writes a data chunk to a file. On a side note, these same filesystems are accessible on a Solaris (unix) host too. When the java program is

xrc file and WxGrid
Has anyone any experience with using a XRC file that setsup a Wx::Grid? I''m using wxFormBuilder, in which I setup a grid in a boxsizer, with column names and all. But when I render it via Ruby the grid is just a small empty gray box, and I can''t seem to manipulate it at all. I tried adding columns, resizing columns, populating it with data, etc. but still nothing. I look at the

Printing with CUPS
I've just been trying to get my Samba 3.0.0-2 build to work with CUPS. The rpm I downloaded from the Samba site was not compiled with CUPS library support. Which is why I am assuming that having added printing = cups in my conf file things are not working. If I use the source rpm can I force the build to include CUPS library support ? Or do I have to build from scratch? thanks Alan

Requirement for pandoc 1.12.3 in R 3.1.3
Thanks Brian. Indeed, the vignette is in markdown form. When I updated my system to R 3.1.3 I ran update.packages() and this seems to have upset things (including R-studio processing of markdown files). I tried removing rmarkdown and reverting to an older version so that my sessionInfo() is Loading required package: rmarkdown > sessionInfo() R version 3.1.3 (2015-03-09) Platform:

[OT] Fetchmail and Mutt help
Hi All, I setup Fetchmail and wanted to use Mutt to read e-mail. I used to use Pine and I just am sick of GUI e-mail clients these days. Bloat, complication and unreliable. Pine was my first ever e-mail client. I prefer to use POP still as I want may mail on my machine at all times. I can go into mutt and execute: 'fetchmail -v' and watch it bring down my e-mail. But in mutt i dont see

Requirement for pandoc 1.12.3 in R 3.1.3
Are other developers finding R 3.1.3 problematic because vignette building requires pandoc 1.12.3, while Linux Mint 17 / Ubuntu 14.04 have 1.12.2.1? R 3.1.2 seems to work fine. I'd very much like to avoid having to build as large a Linux package as pandoc, which has given me issues outside of R (it leaves out words, sentences or paragraphs when converting Latex to epub in a novel I'm

Re: unable to edit existing snapshot
Sorry for the lack of information, my bad. The snapshot is an internal one and the machine is running. The whole thing was set-up by another person and left to me to cope with. The typo is mine, as the machine is isolated I cannot actually copy-paste it so have to do it in the traditional way. I am aware of the issue which come when changing HW but I couldn't do otherwise. Theora running on FPGA
Great news! Theora is running on FPGA. After almost a year of a great effort we have Theora validated on FPGA. Now I will try to integrated the hardware with a video controller to see the video! I completely implemented the ExpandBlock, CopyRecon, LoopFilter and UpdateUMVBorder functions. The ReconRefFrames function was partially implemented and the part before will run on a software compiled
