Buig in bin/R script (PR#9375)
Full_Name: Gordon Lack Version: 2.4.0 OS: OSF1 v5.1 Submission from: (NULL) (198.28.92.5) Changes to the bin/R front-end interlude script at 2.4.0 (cf: 2.2.0) have broken R on (Dec/Compaq/HP) OSF1. There are 3 occurrences of "${@}", but this is the incorrect syntax for adding $@, as on older Bourne shells this will add an empty (but present) parameter. The result is that the build fails while attempting to add in t...

Unix install question.
Is there anyway to merge the users accounts (passwd/shadow) on our UNIX machine to create a default sampasswd file. We have close to 11,000 UNIX accounts and would like to use samba's domain login features. We are just not sure how to merge the current users into the samba's passwd list. Or is there another way to do this??? Thanks, ********************************* Adam Taylor

Lineage Freya Engine.dll failed to initialise
...Ubuntu version: 10.04 (LTS) Wine version: 1.2 Tried to run them with Windows XP/Vista/7 compatibilities but the error is still there, except for WinXP. WinXP it said that compatibility is wrong or something, anyway the error made it clear that I should change it. Tried Lineage 2 versions: Freya, Interlude (error looks the same for both) I hope that I gave enough information. If more is needed than let me know. I am sorry if this thread is on wrong forum. pam_winbind and offline logon
Hi all! As a long slackware user I'm a total noob in pam and I'm banging my head against a wall trying to set it up correctly to play nice with slackware's default pam configuration. One of the things I'm trying to accomplish is to be able to logon while the ad domain is available and have pam_mount automount the samba shares and to be able to do an offline logon and skip the

Musiconhold and Parking crash
One problem I noticed when I was testing was that if I use the flash button twice in a conversation, asterisk will crash. Does anybody have no idea why? MusicOnHold Problem: I'm really not understanding that feature. I know it works, because I can set up an Extension that plays the musiconhold music. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----- Somebody

radiomatic
...oduction and broadcasting (here definitively bound) with streaming activities. This project will be controlled by a cooperative node constituted by the users and the developers (actually AudioLab in Nice and RadioStudio in Weimar, and very soon other studios from everywhere) Following the projects Interludes, AudioVideo and Alphabet, the question would be: " does the machine structure subjectivities or does subjectivities structure the machine? ". RadioMatic is an "autonomous" dispositive to produce changes and moves. " Not only the machine produces something in the world, bu...

rgl/compiz problem
I have just encountered the problem with rgl where plot3d figures don't interact with the mouse. My plots zoom in and out with the mouse wheel but the mouse buttons do nothing. I can't rotate the plot. This has been mentioned and discussed here and in other lists before, and the solution is to turn off Ubuntu's fancy graphics. Back in March, Ben Bolker said: """

Introduce yourself and your project -- Round 2
On December 14th, 2004 David Heinemeier Hansson sent this to the mailing list: I''m seeing a lot of new names on the list. Could we perhaps do a round of introductions? That would also be a great first post, if you haven''t had a chance to contribute yet. The basics should include your name, your organization, your country and city, and the project you''re
