I am learning to use the gsDesign package.
I have a question about Pocock and OBF boundary. As far as I can understand, these 2 boundaries require equal spacing between interim analyses (maybe this is not correct?). But looks like I can still use gsDesign to run an analysis based on unequal spacing:?

logging interim results using foreach/doMC
Dear all,
I am converting a large process to a parallel backhend using doMC and
foreach. Basically, I havea long list of input graph files and each of
them calls soem basic igraph package functions. I am parallelizing the
run, in order to save time. All works fine, and each %dopar% call ends
with a vector of results that at the end got fed into a data frame and
saved as a csv table.

Samba rejecting authentication from Windows machines

the update there were numerous Samba problems, mostly to do with trusts
and authentication. an interim patch was quickly produced and this seems
to have mitigated the problem.
I would suggest that upgrading Samba is probably your next step, but you
will probably have to upgrade to bullseye or bookworm.

Distributing llc and opt with own package?
Hi,
I was wondering, if someone could point me into the right direction,
towards building just llc and opt (potentially 4.0 + patches) to distribute
them in the interim with compiler? The idea is that we’d like to pin our
llvm ir code generator to a specific set of llc and opt tools, with
potential patches applied, until we manage to get all those patches
upstreamed.

Ghost files in OCFS2 filesystem
Hi,
I have encountered an issue on an Oracle RAC cluster using ocfs2, OS is RH Linux 5.3.
One of the ocfs2 filesystems appears to be 97% full, yet when I look at the files in there they only equal about 13gig (filesystems is 40gig in size).
I have seen this sort of thing in HP-UX but that involved a process who's output file was deleted but the process hadn't been stopped properly, once

Thanks for your prompt response!
If I understand you correctly, one interim measure would be to update
the code generators that don't support unwind to explicitly signal an
error, no? You could always have a -compile-anyway command-line flag
that tells the code generator to do its best, for users that want to
proceed with the unsupported feature.

Using same ZFS under different kernel versions
I build two zfs filesystems using b29 (from brandz).
I then re-installed solaris express b28, preserving the zfs filesystems.
When I tried to "zpool import" my zfs filesystems I got a kernel panic:

Fetch order
...ID in the list first, so from the example above it would fetch UID
171,172,173 and so on. Courier on the other hand would start the fetch
on UID 195,194,193 and so on.
We have an internal developed webmail application that has been
affected by this change, so I am just wondering whether there is a
interim fix while we fix our webmail application to cater for this.
