Comparing the components of a data frame without levels interfering
*Bottom Line: How can I compare the individual components of two data frames with different row lengths without the levels interfering?* Example: I have two data frames to those respectively named 'dfCity' and 'dfState' that have the following output: dfCity Name City 1 Bill Detroit 2 Jody Chicago 3 Frank Memphis 4 Ron Houston

.Rprofile interfering with update.packages()
I know this is a double post, but the subject line was really misleading. Sorry again. This is the first time that I have tried to update packages with a tinkered around with .Rprofile. I start R with R --vanilla and it does not load my .Rprofile, but when I issue the command update.packages() R downloads the packages as expected, but then seems to load .Rprofile before compiling the packages

Screen Tabs Interfered with on Convert Program
Here is a nice no-cost Unit conversion utility that almost works perfectly in Wine. http://joshmadison.com/software/convert/ Here is a screenshot of how it's rendering on Ubuntu 6.10 with Wine 0.9.30. http://www.dcresearch.com/Screenshot-Convert.png Of course nothing beats the "units" program for this sort of thing for the geek-at-heart. -Joe Baker

fax/data/phone switch interfering with voip
I have an analogue line with a fax/data/phone switch on it 1. I hooked up a X100P to the phone port (the other ports are used for a fax machine and a omdem) and can answer and initiate calls .. but I can't get the caller id info. 2. I hooked up a SPA 3000 fxo to the same phone port and get caller-id info and can answer calls, but I can't make calls!! Also, if I hookup a callerid phone

How to disable selinux protection interfering with pppd? I tried audit2allow, but policy does not load. Is there an seboolean?
CentOS release 5.4 (Final) I run pppd on this system, it accepts dial-in connections, logs people in over ssh/sftp. I had selinux disabled on this system originally, but I recently enabled it, and selinux is blocking this pppd service. "audit2allow -M" has generated the following policy based on AVC denial messages: module fixdialinserver 1.0; require { type pppd_t;

Interfering Splash Screen...

Here's a link to disabling the splash screen. Remember you still have a registry on your linux box (when using wine), even though its

3rd party repositories
Can anyone comment on the use of 3rd party repos for newer versions of software like php, python and mysql? Two I am aware of are puias and ius. Is one preferable to the other? Can their packages be installed in parallel to and without interfering with base packages?

[LLVMdev] Bug? Coalescing & Updating Subreg Intervals
On Wednesday 20 February 2008 14:14, David Greene wrote: > I discovered this through an assert I put into some of my own code. I want > to know if that assert is bogus or if there's a bug here. A little more information: the assert checks that after coalescing two nodes, all subregister live intervals for the register coaelsced to now interfere with whatever the eliminated live

Session access interfers with other model access
Sorry to be such a bother but I''m not getting this. I have two models: Emrec and Session (I''m using AR for session mgmt.) In my worker I can access the Emrec model and delete a record, AS LONG AS I don''t try to access the Session model. With the Session model access commented out as below, the Emrec record gets deleted. If I uncomment those lines, the Emrec

Facebooker interfering with existing application
Hi! I have an existing application, basically a very simple Hobo app. It works... When I install the Facebooker plugin and create the facebooker.yml file (with valid or fake content, doesn''t matter), the original app starts behaving strangely. The controller and view logic keeps working, but several static files stop being served from http://localhost:3000/javascripts and start being

Two Samba Server (with same Domain Name) on the same subnet??
Dear Members, We have a samba (v3.2.5).domain (workgroup=TESTDOMAIN) on a debian server (with opanldap authentication) running for several years. Now I would like to let this domain temporarily active (due to old windowsXP client, they will dissaperar soon). In the meantime I will setup a second samba server (v3.6.6) (authentication through another openldap server - running already) with the

Exclude and delete or not delete
Hello I'm looking for a way to exclude and delete some items but not delete other items. Use case: I'm on Windows where there are folders like recycle.bin and system volume information on every drive. I can exclude them while backing up my data drive. But I now also have other data that is excluded and that I want to delete from my existing backup. However if I use --delete-excluded then

Always a good idea! :) Instead of adding an instruction, I'd suggest adding an intrinsic. You can mark intrinsics as not reading/writing to memory (see lib/Analysis/BasicAliasAnalysis.cpp for

Killed compiz & pulseaudio. What else might cause problems?
I was reading some recent posts and noticed our esteemed moderator suggested that compiz and pulseaudio might interfere with the proper running of wine, so I killed them. RIP. Are there any other common Linux daemons that might be running in the background interfering with wine or applications running under wine? I did some searching and did not find a discussion about this particular topic.

[LLVMdev] Rotated loop identification

I think the problem is that ScalarEvolution cannot reason about signed division. This is a general problem independent of your target. At the moment I'm not sure if we can teach ScalarEvolution to reason about this, or if we can defer

[LLVMdev] Bug? Coalescing & Updating Subreg Intervals
I have a question about what is going on at line 754 of SimpleRegisterCoalescing.cpp. The comment says we are updating the live intervals for subregisters. This happens when we coalesce to a physical register. Now, I read that as, "merge in the range information from the eliminated live interval to the subregister live interval," but that appears to not be what happens. In my case,
