Hi, I'm a voip service provider and i'm setting up a asterisk box to register around 100 lines from my central softswitch. This asterisk box will be placed inside a customer and has a digium card to be interconected with customer's pabx. My problem is that when asterisk send register message, my softswitch return with sip 401 and asterisk should send a register message with Authorization in header. I mean, the IAXy boxes only support the ADPCM and uLAW codecs, but for a certain number of calls our bandwidth runs out, then I think if Asterisk can convert the signal that comes in ADPCM format (the lighter codec out of these two) to another codec that use less bandwidth to interconect to another Asterisk Server via IAX2 protocol. Hi, I'm seeing something I'd like suggestions on: I have a queue with agents that log in using agentcallbacklogin. The extension that is logged in with is a Local channel. Now, if a call comes in to the queue and is handled by an agent (in our case using Cisco 7960 SIP phones) and transferred (attended) to another extension, the agent remains unavailable during the remains of the call.

Greetings all. Some small question regarding schedule poll operation hypercall. 1. struct sched_poll poll.timeout is measured in what unit of time? Secs, ms? ns? 2. After issuing the hypercall_sched_op(SCHEDOP_poll, &poll); if no timeout is used in poll struct how long will I yield the CPU? 3. If I issue the hypercall and the event never comes is it possible to to yield the CPU for ever?
