Kerberos/AFS options in ssh/sshd while disabling them in configure
Dear OpenSSH developers, Hello, I strongly support this suggestion ie. adding the sentence "This option has been disabled at compile time" as appropriate. Using kerberized SSHD. Question.
I have a kerberized SSHD installed on HOST-1, a login server for the outside world. How can I make it so users are still authenticated via kerberos, even though they haven't yet received a ticket? The main reason for this is that a user who is at home, no vpn, but has an ssh client could then login and be authenticated by kerberos using password authentication, get a ticket, then be allowed

Using Kerberos5 in 3.3p1
Hello all, I'm not able to get Kerberos5 authenticarion work together with PrivSep. According to strace, it seems that the kerberos authentication stage is performed by the user process in chrooted enviroment. The problem is that Kerberos authentication must be done by root. Is anybody working on a fix? (or am I missing something in configuration?) Thanks for any advice. -- Dan

Kerberos in OpenSsh 2.9.9p2
I note with interest that Kerberos support is now available (for the version 1 protocol, at least) in OpenSSH 2.9.9p2.
