Misc patches
Hi,
Here are 3 suggested patches.
1. Build test for cmake and run the test in gitlab-ci.
2. Disable the message box on Windows on abort that cause test hangs in CI.
3. Build time improvement by removing unnecessary includes of stdio.h in production code and change to a lighter header intrin.h -> intrin0.h (windows only). Attached screenshot of measurement but it resulted in 14%

Unable to mount partition
Hi,
I use btrfs for my /home drive. It''s a separate drive with just a
single partition.
I upgraded to ubuntu 13.10 (beta) a few weeks ago, without any real
trouble. But I did have too many issues (not with the drive or btrfs,
though) so I decided to do a fresh install.
The new install failed a few times, so I made another startup usb
drive with another program and that one worked fine.

Immediate crash on Mac OS X 10.2.8
Hello,
I don't know very much about Macs, so may have missed some obvious steps,
but I downloaded version 1.8.1 of RAqua.dmg and installed from the R
package file. The Start R icon appeared in the applications directory,
but crashed immediately on opening. Here is the log file:
Date/Time: 2004-03-03 08:32:27 +1100
OS Version: 10.2.8 (Build 6R73)
Host: Kylie-Kings-Computer.local.

R-0.90.1 is released
I've rolled up R-0.90.1.tgz a moment ago.
You can get it from
ftp://cvs.r-project.org/pub/CRAN/src/base/R-0.90.1.tgz
or
http://cvs.r-project.org/pub/CRAN/src/base/R-0.90.1.tgz
or wait for it to be mirrored at a CRAN site near you within a day or two.
There's also a version split in two for floppies and a patch file if
you prefer that.
For the R Core Team,
Peter D.
