Add Printer Wizard
I'm having a bit of trouble getting a Samba printer set up. What I have is a postscript capable HP laserjet. It actually has IPP/HTTP and stuff on it. I need queueing to work, so my clients can't print to it directly, so what I want to do is: Get the printer set up on a central CUPs server: done. Printing quality is perfect from Unix machines. Thank you postscript! Have samba print to

Using Solaris iSCSI target in VirtualBox iSCSI Initiator
Hello, I?m using ZFS to export some iscsi targets for the virtual box iscsi initiator. It works ok if I try to install the guest OS manually. However, I?d like to be able to import my already prepared guest os vdi images into the iscsi devices but I can?t figure out how to do it. Each time I tried, I cannot boot. It only works if I save the manually installed guest os and re-instate the same

[PATCH] x86: clean up __io_apic_eoi()
Irrespective of the IO-APIC vector sharing suppression patch just sent the logic in this function needs to iterate over all RTEs, since multiple pins within an IO-APIC may still use the same vector. This is due to the irq_2_pin[] mapping not necessarily being 1:1. Consequently we should remove the commented out code as well as the respective comments provisioned for the point in time when vector

Opinions on the best wholesale origination/term providers
I've been losing patience with my current provider, a small company called Sellvoip. Their termination is good, and they are asterisk based, but they are understaffed and have no concept of customer service. So I'm shopping. I am interested in the opinions of others on the providers they work with. Here are my criteria, roughly in order a) Decent quality, low latency. In

IPSec Racoon and Port Forwarding
Hello, I have given myself quite the headache trying to make this VPN work correctly. I am attempting to use racoon to establish keys and construct an encrypted tunnel between one host(A.A.A.A) with a routable IP address and another that has a private address(10.0.0.2) with a cable modem(B.B.B.B) forwarding all ports to the private address(10.0.0.2). Here is a quick topographic dipiction of the

Merging Documentation and Help pages
Hi, Going over the wiki some more I noticed that the GettingHelp and Documentation page contain the same type of information and could be merged (and reduced) as well. On the FrontPage it is called "Learn" (which I like) and points to the Documentation page. On top it says "Help" and points to the GettingHelp page. I would prefer to keep the Documentation page (or rename

[PATCH v3 0/4] vDPA: initial config export via "vdpa dev show"
Live migration of vdpa would typically require re-instate vdpa device with an idential set of configs on the destination node, same way as how source node created the device in the first place. In order to allow live migration orchestration software to export the initial set of vdpa attributes with which the device was created, it will be useful if the vdpa tool can report the config on demand

overriding "summary.default" or "summary.data.frame". How?
I suppose everybody who makes a package for the first time thinks "I can change anything!" and then runs into this same question. Has anybody written out information on how a package can override functions in R base in the R 2.14 (mandatory NAMESPACE era)? Suppose I want to alphabetize variables in a summary.data.frame, or return the standard deviation with the mean in summary output.

[Bridge] LAN-WAN Bridging Problem
Hello, I am experiencing what may be a unique problem with operating the bridge. My hardware is custom Freescale MPC875 processor based with one ethernet (eth0) and one hdlc (hdlc0) WAN port and I am connecting two of these boards together using the WAN ports over a long distance - essentially two bridges in series. They are running Linux 2.6.15 with bridging enabled in the kernel

new(er) SEC driver.
...he omniguard support ... I cannot fully test all features. That said, the driver seems stable and has been working here for a few days now :). The only 'feature' that is missing is alarms, but it seems that alarms are an incomplete feature with nut .... I hope this driver can be re-instated into the 2.X series of nut. Hopefully it will help others out there who have a SEC-based UPS and have been stuck with the nut ... - Julius. -------------- next part -------------- /* -*- Mode: C -*- * sec.h -- header for sec protocol module * * Copyright (C) 2...

Mark had been the longest serving member of the team. Mark had spent many long hours refactoring and documenting the portbuild software to ensure that pointyhat services could be restored. A...
