Fonts issue during run time
I have installed an application and there is no error during installation. On run time it gives message: > Could not install 160 fonts. First Uninstalled font is 1. Please reinstall the fonts > from the setup disks. After ignoring above message I goto open a window made file and it says that encountered a serious error. needs to close down. Kindly advise. Thankyou.

Samba 3.0.7-Debian ***Error Performing inpage operation***
After upgrading to Samba 3.0.7 via apt-get I get an error when I try to copy files from the share from a windows server The error is Can not copy xxxxxx.pdf, error performing inpage operation If I try to open the file then adobe lounches but there is nothing inside. Can anyone tell me what could be wrong? ---

file access problems
we're testing a new NFS product for our mainframe system (Conectivitiy Systems TCP/IP for VSE) and have successfully mapped a virtual drive to our unix system (AIX 4.2). We use Samba (v.1.9.18p2) to share files with the Windows 95 and Windows NT systems in the building. We have attempted to map the "mapped" drive from the mainframe via Samba. ...g time to open (up to 3 mintues), and these are not particularly large files. When the users try to copy the files off of the file server an on to their local hard drives, they get 1 of the following errors (the error switches between these 2): "Cannot copy <filename>: Error performing inpage operation" or "Cannot copy <filename>: The specified network name is no longer available", and then the copy dies. Like I said, we've been running *perfectly* for 3 months now, and I won't have a chance to upgrade to the latest CVS until the weekend, so I'm hoping...
