As part of the fix for: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1626503 I'm proposing to add two new APIs to fetch information about the list of network interfaces of an existing guest. This patch replaces patches 14 and 15 from my previous series. The gtk-doc output is now reasonable, and we can rely on an automatically generated guestfs-sections.txt. Matt

The proposed API is the same as v1, but this includes an implementation (for /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-*) and modifications to virt-inspector. This compiles and works. If you look in patch 5 you can see proposed output as virt-inspector XML for a guest (although this guest has not been booted, so a real guest would hopefully have a hwaddr="MAC" attribute too). This adds most of the hivex APIs directly to the libguestfs API, so that you can read and write Windows Registry hive files from libguestfs without needing to download and upload hive files from the guest. This changes the proposed API slightly. Previously 'mount-local' generating a 'mounted' event when the filesystem was ready, and from the 'mounted' event you had to effectively do a fork.
