OT - Number Portability
Sorry for the off-topic, but perhaps this will be of interest to other
asterisk based ITSPs.
We are starting service in a rural area where the ILEC has the rural
"monopoly". From what we have read in the FCC docs this does NOT exempt
them from number portability, but what does it take for us to qualify to
receive their numbers? To date we simply have a few voice trunks to them,

VoiceConduits is a scam
I've paid them, tried to provision numbers, e-mailed support, instant
messaged support, and got nowhere.
I highly recommend everyone stays away from this provider.

order() (PR#9039)

Version: 2.2.1
OS: Windows XP
Submission from: (NULL) (202.36.29.1)
order() will not allow a complex vector for its first argument. This contrasts
with sort() which will happily sort a complex vector.
While this may not be regarded as a bug by some, it is annoying for anyone who
makes frequent use of complex numbers.
The problem occured in the Windows version 2.2.1 of

Thinking about using two y-scales on your plot?
Please read this first:
http://www.perceptualedge.com/articles/visual_business_intelligence/dual-scaled_axes.pdf
It's a reasoned discussion of why it's a bad idea and proposes some
alternative methods.
Another good article is:
K. W. Haemer. Double scales are dangerous. The American Statistician,
2(3):24?24, 1948.
People have been advising dual-axis plots for (at least) 60 years!

Legal issues for non-profit radio stations.
...ases will take all reasonable
steps to ensure that the user is fully aware of their legal obligations and
allow them time to obtain a licence before considering legal action, but
this will depend on the circumstances. If, however, that person still
refuses to comply, the Societies will apply for an injunction to prevent
them from using any copyright Alliance repertoire until they take out a
licence.
So basically that reads, to me, that if you don't have a licence and they
find out, they'll merely ask you to get one!
Anyway, keep up all the great work, Cheers,

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Use of Smart Pointers in LLVM Projects

A clear place that smart pointers *shouldn't* be used are 'create'

I have a commercial software that I?d like to completely re-do in Ruby
on Rails, as a web application on Apache. But I don?t want to distribute
it with the source code. Is there any way to install/deploy and Ruby on
Rails application without the source code?
Thanks in advance,
