[PATCH 0/2] xen pvfb: Para-virtual framebuffer, keyboard and pointer
This is a pair of Xen para-virtual frontend device drivers:
drivers/video/xen-fbfront.c provides a framebuffer, and
drivers/input/xen-kbdfront provides keyboard and mouse.
The backends run in dom0 user space.
I started with the Xen version at
http://xenbits.xensource.com/linux-2.6.18-xen.hg?rev/ca05cf1a9bdc
Differences to that Xen version, for those who care:
* Rewritten on top of fb deferred

[PATCH] kdump: introduce "reset_devices" command line option
upstream commit 7e96287ddc4f42081e18248b6167041c0908004c
Author: Vivek Goyal <vgoyal@in.ibm.com>
[PATCH] kdump: introduce "reset_devices" command line option
Resetting the devices during driver initialization can be a costly
operation in terms of time (especially scsi devices). This option can be
used by drivers to know that user forcibly wants the devices to

[SPAM] Xen bridge network issue
Hi,
I have taken the long and winding road and indeed it lead me to your door. I
need your help, please.
My Xen includes 2 guests. Xen itself (10.2.0.52) gets free access to the
outside world and to its guests.
Both guests however (10.2.0.54/10.2.0.55) see each other but stay under
house arrest!
Not a single ping manages to go past the bridge (xenbr0) and get an answer
from the default gateway

no console when using xl toolstack xen 4.1.2
Hello!
I was asking for help on the Freenode channel, and I was pointed here.
I have a situation where, using xl, I can create a functional PV domU, with or without pv-grub, but I cannot access the console. Firing up xend and using xm works without trouble. Since xend and company is being deprecated, I would like to transition to using the xl toolstack.
The system is an Arch Linux system

[patch 00/20] XEN-paravirt: Xen guest implementation for paravirt_ops interface
This patch series implements the Linux Xen guest in terms of the
paravirt-ops interface. The features in implemented this patch series
are:
* domU only
* UP only (most code is SMP-safe, but there's no way to create a new vcpu)
* writable pagetables, with late pinning/early unpinning
(no shadow pagetable support)
* supports both PAE and non-PAE modes
* xen console
* virtual block
