Asterisk PBX causes mysql to take more CPU time
...*The following are the issues i am facing:*
1) CPU time always shows 30%-90% for mysql when asterisk is running .
The CPU time goes normal for mysql when asterisk is stopped.
2) calls are getting dropped suddenly.
3) Some answered calls does not hear anything at the
receiver/initiater end.
4) asterisk itself gets crashed at times
5) Core dumps are getting created.
Is there any optimizations or configurations needs to be done on my server
in order to drill down this issue?
Please help me out in troubleshooting this issue, This problems are getting

Pb DTMF with Asterisk vs Cirpack Transit Node
Hi all,
I've a problem in DTMF dialog between * and a Cicpack Transit Node Class 4-5.
The call initiat by a mgcp phone pass by the cirpack and arrive in SIP on *,
everything is ok (negociation and phone call) but when we try to use the
voicemail, Asterisk don't understand DTMF.
Here are some logs (SIP debug on) on a DTMF '2' receive :

iSCSI domU - introducing more stability
Hi there,
during peak load on some running domU, I noticed random iSCSI "Reported LUNs data has changed" which forced me to shutdown the respective domU, re-login the target and do a fsck before starting domU again.
This occurred on a 16 core machine, having only about 14 domUs running. Spare memory has been occupied by dom0 (about 40G). Each domU has it''s own iSCSI target.
