OS Hardening typo?
...; /etc/inittab
echo "~~:S:wait:/sbin/sulogin" >> /etc/inittab
echo "Don't allow any nut to kill the server"
perl -npe 's/ca::ctrlaltdel:\/sbin\/shutdown/#ca::ctrlaltdel:\/sbin\/shutdown/'
-i /etc/inittab
It's been awhile since I've messed with the /etc/initab file, but why
is "Require the root pw when booting into single user mode" being
echoed to /etc/inittab? Is this a typo? (I'm guessing that it is based
on the third line, which just echos what is being done to the console
to the benefit of whoever is typing it in.)
If not, ignore this...

RH 7.1 and Ctrl+Alt+Del [off topic]
I know this isn't samba problem, but I hope that You'll understand.
I have RH 7.1 installed (Kernel 2.4.2-2) and I have strange, funny but
really dangerous problem. In every moment (even when there is login screen)
in text mode when I press Ctrl+Alt+Del my machine simply shuts down.
Is there any fix for this?

I downloaded the tarball and run ''tar xzpvf /root/soft/openfiler-2.3-x86_64.tar.gz'' to extract
