assignment of inidividual variables from spss save files
New to R, can't afford SPSS!
Why can't I assign spss variables? Here are the details.

User/Password Management: Mapping items to inidividual users
Is there a good plugin that does per page authentication management?
For example, I want to allow users to create pages and share them with
specific users, all users, or none at all on a per page basis.

Can't boot to init 3
...console that isn't my (only) terminal....
I tried to see how to tell grub to come up at init 3, but I can't find that
one either.
Help?
Please reply both on list AND directly to me, at least if you reply today,
because this subscription is currently set for digest (because I get all the
inidividual emails at work) - when I get the video set up properly, I'll fix
that....
Thanks.

Difficulties retrieving randomly assigned password for newly created Samba user acounts
Hi everyone, I am using Samba 4.5.16-Debian on Raspbian and thanks to
the help offered by everyone here I now finally have a mostly-working
Active Directory network.
I am now at the stage of creating inidividual user accounts for my
domain and unfortunately I have a very basic but fundamental problem! I
currently enter the following input at the command-line to create a new
user on my DC:
pi at ad1:~ $ sudo samba-tool user create "$USERNAME"
--given-name="$GIVENNAME" --surname=&quo...

Q about how to use Anova.mlm
Hi,
Am newish to stats and R, so I certainly appreciate any help. Basically I
have 50 inidividuals whom I have 6 photos each of their optic nerve head. I
want to check that the orientation of the nerve head is consistent, ie the 6
replicates show minimal or preferably no rotation differences. I'll draw an
arbitrary line between some blood vessels (same reference in each set of
replicates) a...

multiple domains and one PDC w/ ldap?
Is it possible to have multiple domains and all of them authenticate to
one PDC running openldap?
Each building at work has a network segment, 10.8.1.x - 10.8.18.x, each
having their own samba server using smbpasswd and DOMAIN name. Like the
server arrowhead 10.8.9.2 has domain = HPADMIN in smb.conf, server
archives 10.8.8.2 has domain = OLDCAPITOL in smb.conf, roark 10.8.2.3
has domain =

R-2.0.0 Install problem for package bundle with inter-dependent n amespaces
I have a revised version of the gregmisc package, which I've converted into
a package bundle each of which has a namespace: gplots, gmodels, gdata,
gtoools. Of course, there are interdependencies among these namespaces:
gsun374: /tmp [11]> cd gregmisc/
gsun374: gregmisc [12]> grep import */NAMESPACE
gdata/NAMESPACE:importFrom(gtools, odd, invalid, mixedsort)

[ORC] Removing / replacing JITDylibs
Hi,
I'm working on a runtime autotuner that utilizes ORCv2 JIT (I'm closely tracking
tip-of-tree), so linking new object files and patching in the new function(s)
will happen frequently.
One of the concerns my runtime system has is the ability to do one of the
following: (1) replacement of the contents of a JITDylib with a new object file
[to provide semi-space GC-style reclaiming], (2)

DomU in it''s own LVM partition fails to boot CentOS 5.2 Dom0/U
I''m trying to do what I think would be relatively simple but can''t seem to
make it work. Essentially I want to create several domU''s running CentOS
each with it''s own LVM partition for increased performance over image files.
Initially I did a test with image files and everything went fine, I booted
the supplied initrd and vmlinuz images installed CentOS from
