When I want to open Samba share in Windows OS, It ask me "Username" and "Password" and repeat it. Very Emergency.
Hello all.
I can't apply permission to my Samba Share via Windows Active directory. My Samba share is :

Samba to share NFSv4 + ACL mounted filesystems on NetApp storage
...f:
[testsiven]
comment = NFSv4 test
path = /NAS/trg_shr_sft_00/erp/siven
valid users = "prod\siven" "__empty__"
write list = "prod\siven"
force user = Terp
force group = Terp
So, in summary, we are relying on NFSv4 ACL inherritance to
set the correct ACLs on all files and directories under a
given NFS mount.
The problem we are running into is that, when CIFS users are
creating files via the Samba shares, the NFSv4 ACLs get removed.
Here's an expamle of a file the was created from a Samba share:
root at system # ls -lVd...

Improvement: SiteMapper - working ideas as a possible RoR''s routing replacement
Hello,
I''ve done potencial replacement for RoR''s routing mechanism.
It just works as an independent class so you can try bundled examples
withou installing anything else. I didn''t integrated it into Rails (as
a plugin?) because I don''t know if anyone would appreciate it etc.

using "integrate" in a function definition
Dear list members,
I'm quite new to R, and though I tried to find the answer to my probably
very basic question through the available resources (website, mailing
list archives, docs, google), I've not found it.
If I try to use the "integrate" function from within my own functions,
my functions seem to misbehave in some contexts. The following example
is a bit silly, but

I will get a smbd process started. (If this is incorrect please let me know
;)
But this morning I did a quick ps -ax on my machine and found *two* smbd -D
in the process list. But as far as I know there is no connection to the
samba server right now.
I did connect to and disconnect from the server yesterday but I would think
that that connection would have been released by now.
Can anyone
