for below 50 users don't worry any second about virtualization, we have
a whole infrastrcuture for hundrets of domains and all sort of services
(database, fileserver, webserver, mailserver, spamfirewall, dhcp, dns,
voip, fax) on a single server with a identical one as failover
the only thing you need take care of is the storage performance and even

hardware sizing and configuration
Understanding that a samba 4.x ADDC should be run on a an os separate
than a samba 4. file server, I was thinking of virtualizing both. Is it
common to have a single physcial server with two VM's running samba?
If some is there a recommendation on how much hardware to start with and
how much virtual hardware to give each VM. I'm wondering about virtual
nics and if there may be a

Pawel Krupinski's ssh-decrypt ssh-encrypt proposal
This sounded extremely interesting to me.
one suggestion I would have is to use uuencoding first on encryption
and uudecode on decryption to take care of the problem you mentioned
"Of course RSA puts limits on the data that
can be encrypted" that should take care of that.
I was looking for a way of using ssh-agent to be used to allow certain
applications to get passwords.

script to detect dictionary attacks
Hi
has someone a script which can filter out dictionary attacks
from /var/log/maillog and notify about the source-IPs?
i know about fail2ban and so on, but i would like to have
a mail with the IP address for two reasons and avoid fail2ban
at all because it does not match in the way we maintain firewalls
