Newbie Question: Type of card
Hi, I am sorta a newbie to the asterisk community at least in the realm of
hardware types. I was wondering, what type of card is used to allow asterisk,
on a slackware installation to talk to a standard phone line so that asterisk
can call out?

Outlook Integration
I have been looking around for Outlook Integration for Asterisk. Saw
the Asterisk TAPI wiki page and also ran across this:
http://www.fonality.com/pop.cgi?page=pop_pbxtray.tt (PBXtray)
It looks like Fonality has managed to make an app that does screen
pops and allows click to dial. Has anyone else been able to get this
all to work successfully? Looks pretty slick.

Streaming Audio - Music On Hold Feature
I was wondering, does anyone know if it is possible to have a stream of
audio coming from a Microsoft compressed audio stream fed to the caller if
they are placed on hold and if so how might this be done?

AGI global style variables

that output the message of "it is necessary to dial x". I was curious,
does any one know about a variable that might be available in the AGI that
would tell me what channel they are coming in on.
I looked in the wiki and found

CISCO 7905 Phone Weirdness
It seems on my phone, which is hooked up to a large pbx network powered by
an asterisk server, that it will randomly start ringing with a callerid#
of 2013 which is its username for that phone. I have looked and been
watching on the asterisk command line with the -vvvvvvr switch and nothing
has been seen that indicates a reason for this random ringing. This leads
me to think that this trouble

.call file creation
I am curious partly because it has occurred randomly in my asterisk
system. How does one go about creating a .call file for placing a call
between two extensions/phones? I know this has been mentioned and is
probably in one of the wikis somewhere, but I am unsure exactally how to
go about doing it. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
