[samba_upgradedns] Error parsing DNS data
Hello,
I am trying to change over from bind9 to internal dns.
For some reason I keep getting the following error:
Error parsing DNS data from '/opt/samba/private/dns/TH01.INET.zone' ()
I have inspected TH01.INET.ZONE but I could not find an error.
I do not understand this error message. I am hoping someone could help
me with this issue please. Your help will be very much appreciated.

BIND9_FLATFILE to BIND9_DLZ | Error parsing DNS data from '/opt/samba/private/dns/th01.inet.zone' ()
Hi all,
I got some issues with adding DNS records. I still use BIND9_FLATFILE on
my first DC. Maybe this is the problem? What I would like to try is to
change from BIND9_FLATFILE to BIND9_DLZ.
I change the backend from BIND9_FLATFILE to BIND9_DLZ twice (in the past
or other servers) but I don't remember how I did this anymore!
What I did try is the following... and that didn't work. I

Problem with multiple ISP''s
I have a setup with two Internet providers. One circuit (net0 == eth1) is
used primarily for employees and tunnels to other sites. The other (net1 ==
eth2) is for the production machines that customers access. Everythung works
in teh sense that packets get to where they are sent (mostly) but I recently
I had a sniffer on the system and noticed a problem I cannot solve. traffic

XenServer 6: Is it a bug? - NO output of: xe vm-import filename=Solaris10-extended-HVM-template
Hello,
It is strange. There is no output and the imported VM (template) is not
visible with "xe vm-list" or "xe template-list". The file is an exported
template.
What do I miss? Thank you in advance for any hints.
Regards, mark

weird fail with conversion to bridges?
I''m converting my network from a "one interface per segment" to a
"single connection with vlans", well, some hardware I have requires
using different vlan IDs. suffice it to say I need bridges to connect a
few different vlans that should all be one but can''t be because of
firmware constraints. so my first step is to get shorewall to know
about bridges.

IP range
Hi all
Can someone explain me this:
ifcfg-eth0-range1:
ONBOOT="yes"
IPADDR_START="192.168.1.48"
IPADDR_END="192.168.1.55"
CLONENUM_START="1"
Why Bcast is 192.168.1.51 and why Mask is 255.255.255.252 ?
OS: Centos 6.3/64bit
Thanks
Levi

I'm loading the cpufreq.ko module in /boot/loader.conf.

ip alias + dsl modem
Hi Guys,
Just wondering for some reason when I switched providers(DSL) IP aliasing
stopped working. And, I am not sure what kind of modem this is, the previous
one had some Ethernet ports at the back(it has a bult-in 4 port switch) the
new doesn''t have one, only a single Ethernet port and It is directly
connected to my Linux box.
My provider gave me a /24 subnet and 9 useable

FYI: issue with arpa/inet.h on SunOS 5.9 (old gcc?)
This just information of my experience installing R on SunOS 5.9
today, not a request for help.
(in case anyone cares, and if not, I apologize for the distraction)
I am building R 2.6.0 (patched; svn revision 43319, 2007-11-01) and
encountered the problem described below.
I believe the problem is an old gcc (version 3.0.4, built some 5
years ago), because the warnings do not occur when I
