Digest Subcriber needs help with SELinux file context setting

If /etc/httpd/virtual.d/trac-rewrite.log does not already exists then when
I try to start httpd I get this:
--->
# service httpd start
Starting httpd: [FAILED]
Checking /var/log/messages I see this:
# tail /var/log/messages
Dec 17 16:08:01 inet01 setroubleshoot:
SELinux is preventing the /usr/sbin/httpd from using potentially
mislabeled files trac-rewrite.log (etc_t).
For complete SELinux messages. run sealert -l

CentOS-5.2 su -l is failing

system configuration files and I know that the first method, logging in as
a normal user and then su -l to root, was working just a few days ago.
Review of the man and info pages does not enlighten me as to what might be

Need help with rsync.

.ssh/authorized-keys2 file for root. I want to move a directory tree from one
host to the other via rsync to maintain a shadow structure of the application
provided on the main host.
This is the relevant part of the command:
rsync -avz --rsh=ssh --delete-after /var/data/pas-redmine
root at inet01.mississauga.harte-lyne.ca:/var/data
The connection is made and a good deal of material is successfully
transferred. I am however getting a number of permission errors:
rsync: readlink "/var/data/pas-redmine/lib/tabular_form_builder.rb" failed:
Permission denied (13)

Re: Need help with rsync. [solved]
...When I suspect (and that is often the hardest part of the whole exercise,
realizing that SELinux is the problem) that SELinux is involved in a problem I
start by checking the system log file /var/log/messages with grep avc. If I
see things like this:
# grep avc /var/log/messages
May 16 04:02:33 inet01 kernel: audit(1210924952.785:22973): avc: denied {

tcontext=system_u:object_r:rsync_data_t:s0 tclass=file
Then I infer that I have a problem with either the SELinu...
