[PATCH kernel v8 3/4] mm: add inerface to offer info about unused pages
From: Liang Li <liang.z.li at intel.com>
This patch adds a function to provides a snapshot of the present system
unused pages. An important usage of this function is to provide the
unsused pages to the Live migration thread, which skips the transfer of
thoses unused pages. Newly used pages can be re-tracked by the dirty
page logging mechanisms.

URGENT -- pseudo network interface creating problem with dhcp-- centos 5.5
...Psedo Eth0 IP from the switch.
The intensity of the problem is more when port-security is configured
on SW for that port.
?ifconfig ?a? is not showing that pseudo interface.
>From dmesg output, no new things observed related while detecting the
eth0 NIC during bootup.
Only proof for this pseudo inerface?s mac address is SW showing it (on
the SW port connected to my box eth0) in ?show mac address-table?
output
Is there anything that I have to check to nail down the issue.
Any pointers are highly appreciated.

Large data sets and aggregation
I've noticed quite a few messages relating to large data sets bedeviling
R users, and having just had to program my way through one that actually
caused a "Bus error" when I tried to read it in, I'd like to ask two
questions.
1) Are there any facilities for aggregation of data in R?
( I admit that this will not do much for the large data set problem
immediately)
2) Is there any

Printers configured using CUPS web interface disapper after restart
Hi all,
I set up a samba server as PDC and counfigured one local printer connected
to the samba server's parallel port and another jetdirect pritner with ip
192.168.0.10:9100 using the CUPS WEB INERFACE. Both were working fine and I
could print from windwos clients also.
Samba server was configured on a test system. So saturday evening I shutdown
the system and today when I started the linux box, I could not find the
printers I have configured. Just to test again I configured a parallel
printer...

...p3 it(werkzeug4) run ok ,but it needs the last directx with d3d8thk.dll and d3dx9_43.dll d3dcompiler_43.dll
very interesting thing that werkzeug4 run under wine from (1.3.1x -1.3.31) but all gui blinking (from black to original interface draw) and when you move mouse you can see(blinking) inerface and even load some project, but impossible to do something in this case.

graphics_dx9.cpp(2408): d3d error 8876086c(2156)
d3derr_invalidcall (invalid call)

Release: InetBoot (GRUB + BuildRoot + HTTP-FUSE)
...After that it works as the normal KNOPPIX.
#### Known Problems ####
* Depend on Network Interface.
+ InetBoot sets up Network Interface twice (in BuildRoot and
downladed new kernel). Both of them have to set up a suitable
driver.
+ Xenoppix uses old kernel and boots with a few Network Inerface. We
confirmed only RealTeck RL8139 and NE2000. Xenoppix can boots on
QEMU, KQEMU, and VMWare.
* Depend on the situation of server and network.
+ It is sensitive of network latency and load of the server because
the root file system is mounted by "HTTP-FUSE CLOOP".
+ The s...

X100P Echo Problems..What's going to happen?
I've read and experienced the echo problems with the X100P. Is Digium
going to fix the problem or refund our money? I want to see this work
because myself and other small companies out there use analog lines. I
would trade up to T1 but that requires me to have at least 9 lines. If
I did trade up, do the T1 cards work perfectly with no echo at all? I
get echo with my directly connected

kernel: martian
Hi,
I have a setup problem with Shorewall 4.0.6, which I can''t figure out why
it is not working:
I want to install a fireall with 2 extra interfaces :
- My serv ("dmz") zone is a /28 subnet behind eth1, with a small number of SUN
servers (IPs between ABC.DEF.75.1 and .13), one of which is a DHCP server for
the 75 subnet.
- The loc zone are PCs in the 75 subnet behind eth2
