Asterisk Indications
Hi,
Just wondering if someone could better explain how the indications.conf file
actually affects Asterisk?
I am using a Cisco 7940 from my Asterisk system, and have set in
indications.conf "country=au" thinking that this would make the
dialtones/call progress sound like the familiar Australian tones?
However when I call another extension on my system, it still sounds like

How indices calculated in package "boot"
Hi,there,
I am using R package "boot" to bootstrap. I have one question here: does
anybody possibly know how the boot package generates the "indices" which is
used in the statistic function?
I thought "indices = sample(data, replace=TRUE)", but when I replaced
"indices" with this command and used "boot", I got different results.

which() and value replacement in a matrix
Hi,
I cannot go through the archives with which() as key-word... so common. Though I am sure to have seen something about this subject
in the past could somebody put me on the track. I have a matrix (actually a data.frame) in which I would replace the non-null values
by 1.
I tried the following:
indices<-which(myforetbin > 0,arr.ind=T)
myforetbin[indices[,1],indices[,2]]<-1
and get
