Can't access Samba Servers using cable internet access
...I've tried using both the inetd server (with my cable IP
address in the hosts.allow file. I can telnet, etc no problem, so I know
it's working) and running smbd and smbd as daemons. When I try to access the
Samba server, I watch the logs on the server, no warnings, errors, notices,
etc., no indiation that I'm even attempting to access the server. I've tried
using both the name in my /etc/hosts file, and also by IP address. As I said
before, I had no problems using my dialup account.
Can anyone shed ANY light on what's going on?
TIA,
Bobby

voicemail notify problem on sip extension

Subject: [Asterisk-Users] voicemail notify problem on sip extension
Sent: 5/19/2004 4:27:51 PM
I'm having a problem with the voicemail notify feature. Although I have
the voicemail box configured for the sip extension, the sip device
(Supura) does not produce a stutter dialtone to indiate voicemail waiting.
sip.conf and voicemail.conf follow below.
Has anyone seen this problem? I am running CVS-HEAD-05/06/04-17:52:43.
TIA

have to point it out again: a distribution question
...diff)
}
The most interesting thing is (if there is not any stupid game here,
and if my sample follows some kind of distribution (no matter if such
distr has been found or not)), my qq function seems like a way to
evaluate it. But what I am worried about, the line is too "perfect",
which indiates there is something goofy here, which can be proved via
some mathematical inference to get it. However I used
qq(rnorm(10000))
qq(rt(10000, 3.7)
qq(rf(....))
None of them gave me this perfect line!
Sorry for the long question but I want to make it clear to everybody
about my question. I tried my...
