Multiple of independet Anova without loop?
Hello All, I have one question about how to speed up my calculation: I have multiple independent observations and would like to perform Anova with type 3 sum of square. For this, I also have 2 factors and 3 covariates and want to see the main effects of 2 factors and the interaction on each of the observations. In order to do this, I ran Anova using apply() function and I would like to know if

Dear all, I have used polr in MASS but I am uncertain about the summary(polr.object) interpretation and would be happy for help on that. R CMD build error with data files
...version, I had .dat files in my data subdirectory, which I read using .R files. Now R CMD check gives me a warning that .dat files are no longer accepted there. So I changed my filenames to .txt, but actually some of these files are only there in order to be read by .R, not in order to be read independetly by read.table, which produces an error (something like "scan error: line 5 does not have 2 elements", which I'd guess comes from the fact that R tries to automatically read the file with read.table that should be read in a different way as specified in my .R-file). So I decided,...

I whant to filter traffic that pass betwen clients of the AP, this is layer 2 traffic (802.11) and netfilter does not sees it, at first i think in physdev target, but is for layer2 bridged interfaces, and this is not the case. There is a way to filter layer2 traffic independet if it is from a bridged iface or not? -- Luciano

HTB: far unequal behaivor at a slight conf rate change
Hi all! I''m working in a " _really_ end user simple", yet powerfull, flexible, scalable, GPL htb/htb-init front end, but now, in the "test fase" im facing an utlimate problem... Absoult minimalistic scenario: #Use a FIXEDFONT to read this #inet-ethx-|FIREWALL|-lan-ethx <-> |client_host_1| # #FIREWALL class(rate, ceil) at lan-ethx

Call parking with ISDN
Hello! I'm still wondering, how to park a call with an ISDN line. The setup is the asterisk server only, controlled via the CLI. I can originate a call and I can tell asterisk to start the JACK application. But I can't then park the call. I tried it with sending DTMFs with misdn send digit, no luck. I had a look at the CLI, but didn't stumble upon a command to park the call.

how can I monitor a (dumb) switch ?
Hello there, Can anyone help me with a problem i have.... I have an ethernet LAN, made over dumb fast-ethernet switches (10/100mbit) without management, so there is no IP for the switches. What I want, if possible, is to find out if a switch is down or not. It''s like with routers... if you want to find out if a router is OK, either you send ICMP directly to the router, or to a host

[PATCH 0 of 2] v2: memshare/xenpaging/xen-access fixes for xen-unstable
The following two patches allow the parallel use of memsharing, xenpaging and xen-access by using an independent ring buffer for each feature. Please review. v2: - update mem_event_check_ring arguments, check domain rather than domain_id - check ring_full first because its value was just evaluated - check if ring buffer is initialized before calling mem_access_domctl/mem_paging_domctl

bug in postgresql ''now'' time handling??
line 212 of postgresql_adapter.rb is return Time.now.to_s if value =~ /^\(''now''::text\)::(date|timestamp)/ i don''t think this will work. in postgresql the field ''now'' is pinned to the SAME TIME for the duration of a transaction. eg. if you do begin transaction; insert into t values(42, ''now''); # sleep one minute
