TCP connection incresement when reconfigure and question about multi-graph
Hi, all. I set up a dht system, and sent a HUP signal to client to trigger the reconfiguration. But i found that the TCP connection established increased by the number of bricks(the number of glusterfsd progress). $ ps -ef | grep glusterfs root 8579 1 0 11:28 ? 00:00:00 glusterfsd -f /home/huz/dht/server.vol -l /home/huz/dht/server.log -L TRACE root 8583 1 0 11:28 ?

loop is going to take 26 hours - needs to be quicker!
...c.array <- array(NA, c(144,72,46)) n=0 for(k in 1:46){ for(j in 1:72){ for(i in 1:144){ n <- n+1 gpcc.array[i,j,k] <- gpcc.data2[n,5] print(j) } } } So it runs through all the longs for every lat for every year - which is the order the data is running down the column in gpcc.data2 so n increses by 1 each time and each data point is pulled off.... It needs to be a lot quicker, I'd appreciate any ideas! [LLVMdev] Modifying DAG in TargetLowering::ReplaceNodeResults()
Hi! I am trying to implement va_arg() on ppc32. Everything went smooth, except implementing va_arg() of 64bit int. Since i64 is not a legal type on ppc32 DAGTypeLegalizer::ExpandRes_VAARG() splits the va_arg(i64) into two i32 va_args. The problem with ppc32 va_arg is that it needs special "alignment" of its gpr pointer when the argument is i64. Ie. I need to know if I am lowering

Samba - XP performance problem
Hello There, After having googled the whole internet for days I decided to go public with this issue. The result of my google queries so far is that there are plenty of others with the very same problem I have and noone posted a reasonable answer to this: Using Samba 3 with XP gets bad performance. I tested this on Tru64 5.1b and FreeBSD 5.3 with the very same symptoms. The throughput bw XP

[PATCH] kvmalloc: always use vmalloc if CONFIG_DEBUG_VM
...allocinfo shows 614kB more memory. I tried it on a desktop machine with the chrome browser open and /proc/vmallocinfo space is increased by 7MB. So no - this won't exhaust memory and kill the machine. Arguing that this increases memory consumption is as bogus as arguing that CONFIG_LOCKDEP increses memory consumption. No one is forcing you to enable CONFIG_LOCKDEP and no one is forcing you to enable this kvmalloc test too. Mikulas
