nice to be able to include the logo of the school into the charts that a

Thank you so much.

Disaster recovery recommendations
Greetings,
I have three drives; they are all SATA Seagate Barracudas; two are 500GB; the
third is a 2TB.
I don't have a clear reason why they have failed (possibly due to a deep,
off-brand, flakey mobo; but it's still inconclusive, but I would like to find a
disaster recovery service that can hopefully recover the data.
Much thanks for any and all suggestions,

Network Neighborhood, but I can't get it to print from Windows. I
keep getting a Status of "Access denied, unable to connect", even when
simply trying to print a test page. A perusal of the Samba logs has
been inconclusive as has a poring through both Samba and SuSE
documentation. I'm guessing that it's a stupid permission or
authentication configuration I've overlooked, but it's making me
crazy!
I tried to keep my smb.conf very simple:

Of course, it would be possible to effect the distribution at the
application level, but, before I get into this, I would like to know if
there is a plan to restore the 1.2 behaviour, or if the new one is

I saw https://trac.xapian.org/ticket/508, but it is rather inconclusive as
to the future plans.
Cheers,

Constrained regression
...on how to fit a linear regression with
constrained parameters. Specifically, I have 8 predictors , their
coeffiecients should all be non-negative and add up to 1. I understand it is
a quadratic programming problem but I have no experience in the subject. I
searched the archives but the results were inconclusive.
Could someone provide suggestions and references to the literature, please?
Thank you very much.

[LLVMdev] is configure+make dead yet?

I tried this with the official 3.1 tarballs of LLVM and clang from the
Download page, and liblibclang.so is what I got using the cmake build on
Linux. So no, to me it doesn't seem to be fixed in 3.1. The linked
thread on clang-dev seems inconclusive to me as well.

Asterisk ZRTP?
What's the status of ZRTP supported by Asterisk? There was some
discussion on the -dev list and -users list, but it was inconclusive. At
about the same timeframe, a bug (#0010024) was opened and updated for
several months, but has been "suspended" since late 2007.
Does any version (1.4.x, 1.6.x) of Asterisk support ZRTP with clients
(or with other servers)? Any successful testing with specific
clients/peers to rep...

Status of Samba3 Beta3
OK I am a 2.2.8a/LDAP user and have thus far been very skeptical about
making the switch to Samba3. I have seen inconclusive evidence of Beta
3's success rate from the postings since its release. So my question
is...
Has anybody been able to get Samba3b3 to act as complete replacement for
their Windows or Samba2.2.8a PDC? How about with an LDAP backend? Is
it stable and bug-free enough for a mission-critical p...

APW printing defaults : protection fault 0x6a90450e: version 3.0.7-Debian
...I always get a protection fault when I try to open the "printing
defaults" part of the Add Printer Wizard in XP.
"Function address 0x6a90450e caused a protection fault (exception code
0xc0000005). Some or all property page(s) may not be displayed"
A lot of googling has proved inconclusive, except a mail saying this was
a known bug and suggesting an upgrade to version 3.0.0, but I am using
3.0.7!
On log level 2 there is no sign of any error, only files being opened
and closed. On log level 3 no error either.
My config file is below - thanks in advance!

Joining EMC NAS to Samba 3 Domain?
I see list discussions on this subject from a few years back but they
were very brief and, it seems, inconclusive.
I would be interested in hearing from anybody who has discovered the
"trick" to getting an EMC Celerra to join their Samba 3.x domain.
I have an old NetApp Filer happily joined. I simply created an account
with "smbldap-useradd -w filername" and when I then configured t...

clean their machine.
Given the nature of our network and our guests' needs, an inline solution
is not an option. Although, I recall that squid supports WCCP, I'm not
sure that it would do what I am requesting. I also looked at
snort+libclamav, but the info was inconclusive.
We are a CentOs shop and I have a spare dual xeon box that I can use for
the task.
Thanks,

Do you need to Build-Depend on graphviz? The xapian-core tarball
includes the documentation prebuilt.
Debian might have issues with docs which can't be rebuilt without using
non DFSG-free tools - I found some inconclusive discussion of this in
the archives of debian-devel. Even if Debian are OK, it would be better
to not rely on non-free tools...

expressing my concern. The author believed that assigning themselves
copyright was incompatible with licensing the library under the terms
of the LGPL. I disagree, and further contend that without copyright
notice, the [copyright] license loses a certain degree of
applicability, as it becomes inconclusive as to who is licensing the
software under the terms of the LGPL. Not knowing who I was, the
library author asked me to start a discussion of the subject on this
list, presumably so they could see the opinions of others that they
trust.
