Mario Forever incapable of remembering keymap
Mario Forever (versions listed here (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=2363) and others) now load with wine, however, as soon as you select NEW GAME the thing forgets all assigned keys. In the main menu, you can go to OPTIONS, and see that all commands are EMPTY (no key assigned). If you assign keys, leave the screen (but don't start a new game) and return

Forced Ping or re-registration process for SIP devices or accounts/lines
Sometimes it happens to me that my remote SIP devices become incapable of receiving calls. This problem is easily fixed powering the hardware on and off, or reloading the application (when it is a softphone). I wonder if I can force that procedure from the SIP/Asterisk server Thanks in advance Alejandro Lengua -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachme...

Do you box every aggregate in an object? Does insertvalue construct an entirely new object? If so, the performance degradation will be orders of magnitude. Optimizing structs for the JVM is not easy and you will never get decent performance out of the JVM in the gener...

observe_form without ajax?
...to watch a whole form for changes and activate some javascript when those changes occur without any remote request? That is, I want to do exactly what observe_form does, but without the ajax call actually happening. I realize I could use the form_tag :onchange parameter, but that seems to be incapable of doing things like updating a DOM element style. Currently I just put my javascript in :complete and have the ajax render :nothing => true, but that''s a hack and uses unnecessary bandwidth. -Payton

USB 3.0 in qemu-kvm-0.12
I suspect I know the answer here, but is qemu-kvm-0.12 simply incapable of passing a USB 3.0 device to a guest? USB 2 devices work fine, but USB 3 -- nothing. USB 3.0 works fine in the host, of course. Currently using qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.479.el6_7.4.x86_64 in CentOS 6.7. I'm guessing I have to upgrade to CentOS 7 to pass USB 3.0 devices to the guest. Hoping to...

Major problems
...tab and /etc/passwd and caused I/O errors so that I could not straighten it out. Running fsck again made the problem worse by making /etc/rc.sysinit unaccessible, and preventing me from booting up at all. I don't have helpful snippets from the error log since I was on a serial terminal and was incapable of paging up. I'm glad I finally got the terminal up to 38400 b/s though.... Right now, I am probably going to have to re-install, but I am wondering if there is anything I can do in the future to prevent errors like this. Thanks for the help! -- -- Skylar Thompson (skylar@attglobal.net)

Samba + (LDAP + Kerberos V)
...f a design, particularly if you have tried and/or done this in the past. I have heard at least with samba 2 what I am trying is impossible. Not sure with Samba 3. I am wondering if the Active Directory support can be employed to my benefit in this manner. Now, assuming the worst and samba is incapable of handling kerberos tickets, and assuming i manage to handle tickets in ldap itself.... I can authenticate LDAP Sambe users of Kerberos without having to keep a synced password db correct? -Matt

This has been shown to work correctly. </QUOTE> However currently latest gcc version in Cygwin is 3.3...

Feature request: don't allow subscriptions to deleted mail boxes
Hello, Due to Thunderbird's mailbox deletion problem I was able to remove a mailbox while keeping the subscription. This was hugely annoying as Thunderbird is totally incapable of removing the subscription, even though the mailbox is long gone. It took me a while before I found a work around: I had to actually log in and remove a line from the .subscriptions file. You will probably get the same problem when you manually delete or rename a mailbox. So here is my featu...

Graphics window BUG
...mething that produces more than one page of graphics, the graphics window starts by showing the first page, until such time as I hit enter to show me the next page, at which time it speeds through every consecutive page and freezes on the last one. At this point the last page is all I see and I am incapable of scrolling from one graphic to the next as I see fit. I have had this problem for as long as I have used R; recording history doesn't seem to help.... Default Reply-To: for this list changed
It appears people are fundamentally incapable to deal with "Reply" and "Reply All". Accordingly, I have changed the list to default replies to the list; it's quite a pain to deal with in the presence of people with Reply-To: headers and other things, but at least it should keep me from having to deal with people trying...

Samba 3 to 4 Migration Workgroup/Logon problem
Hey, I'm testing a migration from samba 3 to samba4. On samba 3 smb.conf, I have and workgroup=EXAMPLE.COM and now, on samba4, after the migration I have workgroup=EXAMPLE and realm=EXAMPLE.COM. My problem is that on workstations already joined to domain, on samba3, are incapable of authenticating/login against the same domain in samba 4 without rejoining the domain. The infrastructure in question is pretty big and it's not viable to rejoining each workstation to the domain. I think the problem comes from the workgroup difference, but I'm not shure. Someone had t...

syslinux 6.03 does not boot some kernels
...__________ > Syslinux mailing list > Submissions to Syslinux at zytor.com > Unsubscribe or set options at: > http://www.zytor.com/mailman/listinfo/syslinux > Since we are in the Syslinux Mailing List, please let me rephrase the most relevant part of this case: syslinux.efi 6.03 is incapable of booting some kernel, whereas syslinux.efi 6.01 can successfully boot it under the same conditions. I see this as a regression bug in Syslinux. Regards, Ady.
