Mario Forever incapable of remembering keymap
Mario Forever (versions listed here (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=2363) and others) now load with wine, however, as soon as you select NEW GAME the thing forgets all assigned keys. In the main menu, you can go to OPTIONS, and see that all commands are EMPTY (no key assigned). If you assign keys, leave the screen (but don't start a new game) and return

Forced Ping or re-registration process for SIP devices or accounts/lines
Sometimes it happens to me that my remote SIP devices become incapable of receiving calls. This problem is easily fixed powering the hardware on and off, or reloading the application (when it is a softphone). I wonder if I can force that procedure from the SIP/Asterisk server Thanks in advance Alejandro Lengua -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Sure but a lot of people like me are using LLVM precisely because it offers these wonderful features. observe_form without ajax?
This betrays my lack of javascript knowledge, but is it possible to watch a whole form for changes and activate some javascript when those changes occur without any remote request? That is, I want to do exactly what observe_form does, but without the ajax call actually happening. I realize I could use the form_tag :onchange parameter, but that seems to be incapable of doing things like

USB 3.0 in qemu-kvm-0.12
I suspect I know the answer here, but is qemu-kvm-0.12 simply incapable of passing a USB 3.0 device to a guest? USB 2 devices work fine, but USB 3 -- nothing. USB 3.0 works fine in the host, of course. Currently using qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.479.el6_7.4.x86_64 in CentOS 6.7. I'm guessing I have to upgrade to CentOS 7 to pass USB 3.0 devices to the guest. Hoping to avoid that just now. -- Bob

Major problems
I am having major problems on one of my file-servers. I have the root filesystem on an Ext3 software RAID 1 between four SCSI drives. It had been running for about two months without problems, but today I found it was having some trouble with unlinked inodes and I/O errors on certain files. I took it down to single-user mode, and ran fsck on it. That operation mixed up files like /etc/hosts with

Samba + (LDAP + Kerberos V)
So like at least a handful of people before me I have begun the valiant stugle to unify logins at my place of business. I have setup a test LDAP + Kerberos V cluster. And I have Setup a test Samba 3 PDC. What I would like to do is get Samba to handle kerberos ticket granting and authentication to the (LDAP + Kerberos V) Directory. Such that Windows is completely unaware of the existence of

Feature request: don't allow subscriptions to deleted mail boxes
Hello, Due to Thunderbird's mailbox deletion problem I was able to remove a mailbox while keeping the subscription. This was hugely annoying as Thunderbird is totally incapable of removing the subscription, even though the mailbox is long gone. It took me a while before I found a work around: I had to actually log in and remove a line from the .subscriptions file. You will probably get

Graphics window BUG
I thought this problem would be resolved when I switched to R version 2.7.0 (for Windows), but no - anytime I plot something that produces more than one page of graphics, the graphics window starts by showing the first page, until such time as I hit enter to show me the next page, at which time it speeds through every consecutive page and freezes on the last one. At this point the last page is

Default Reply-To: for this list changed
It appears people are fundamentally incapable to deal with "Reply" and "Reply All". Accordingly, I have changed the list to default replies to the list; it's quite a pain to deal with in the presence of people with Reply-To: headers and other things, but at least it should keep me from having to deal with people trying to take things off-list at least once a week. -hpa

Samba 3 to 4 Migration Workgroup/Logon problem
Hey, I'm testing a migration from samba 3 to samba4. On samba 3 smb.conf, I have and workgroup=EXAMPLE.COM and now, on samba4, after the migration I have workgroup=EXAMPLE and realm=EXAMPLE.COM. My problem is that on workstations already joined to domain, on samba3, are incapable of authenticating/login against the same domain in samba 4 without rejoining the domain. The infrastructure in
