Is it safe? Cochran etc
...s one-tailed and not two-tailed. I don't understand the difference between chisq.test, prop.test and fisher.test when the hybrid=1 option is used for the fisher.test. I was using the binomial distribution to test the 'extremity' of the observed data, but now I think I know why that is inapropriate, however, with the binomial (and its approximation) at least I know what I am doing. And I can do it in perl easily... Generally, how should I calculate fisher.test in perl (i.e. what are its principles). When is it safe to approximate fisher to chisq? I cannot get insight into this problem... H...

A 40KB limitation on messages is probably inappropriate in the year 2017. Does Asterisk overwrite any libraries?
I am using a brand new RH9.0 installation. I installed Asterisk afterwards so I am not sure if Asterisk caused the problem below. The ps doesn't work. It could also be something else. I also tried installing a some video package. But I thought to ask here first if someone has seen this before. [root@localhost asterisk]# ps ps: error while loading shared libraries: libproc.so.2.0.6: cannot

Authentication failure
...cation info. fails as expected (/etc/shadow does not contain it). Does anyone have any idea why w98 in such situation does not get access granted? I don't have any other client (apart local smbclient) to test the setup on. Or may be my attempt to have ldap serve passwd and NOT serve shadow is inapropriate and there is simpler and *working* other setup to achieve the same target? Thenx, -R

ODP: Re: freeradius + NTLM + samba AD 4.5.x
Hello, I can definately confirm that it's working. My basic setup is: 1) Samba 4.7.6 AD DC (2 of them), compiled from source, on centos 7 2) Freeradius 3.0.13 + samba 4.6.2 as domain member, packages straight from centos repo. // I  tested also on freeradius 3.0.14 and samba 4.7.x smb.conf on the DC is pretty basic, most important is obviously in [globall]:         ntlm auth =

Re: Ogg Internet Drafts - create application/ogg-vorbis, application/ogg-tarkin, etc.
Dear David, I hope it's ok to forward your email to the developer lists. I have not seen a comprehensive scheme for MIME type naming and file extensions for ogg files yet - please anybody put me in the picture if there is. However, I have seen application/x-ogg used for ogg-vorbis files, which is according to MIME type registration rules an unregistered and experimental MIME type (see
