Invalidating inaccessible SEXP?
Is there a (C or R) function to invalidate the relevant parts of SEXP / data that are inaccessible? My problem is in tracking down protection and other memory mismanagement bugs, where I have to rely on luck to invalidate or overwrite data to trigger a detectable error. This makes it hard to track down a bug (it sometimes doesn't occur), or to know that a patch fixes the problem. Thanks...

Profile inaccessable
...e anything to do with samba per se, but it didn't happen before I upgraded/rebuilt this particular server on 3.0.7. I'll ask anyway in case somebody has seen this... I have ONE user on ONE workstation that occasionally gets locked out of his workstation with the message about a corrupt/inaccessable profile, using a temp (sorry for not having the exact text, I've killed people for lesser offenses myself). When I go in as administrator I see that his profile has status= backup. While mucking about with it I've found that if I do a 'copy to' operation from that screen t...

Samba shares inaccessable
I'm fairly new to ubuntu and have been asked to figure out why the samba 3 shares on a ubuntu 10.x server have become inaccessible. Here are the details: Office staff suddenly cannot access their samba shares from their mac osx clients. They can connect to the server, it accepts password, shows the available shares, but when one is selected (any of them except netlogon), user gets the message "Connection failed. Ther...

[PATCH] [xend] [ACM] Enable labeling of resources as inaccessible
This patch enables the labeling of (disk-type) resources with the special label __INACCESSIBLE__ to prevent unlabeled domains from accessing them. http://cran.us.r-project.org/ inaccessible
For the last couple of days when I go to http://cran.us.r-project.org/ I see only the left-hand margin logo and table of contents. If I click on one of the links there, I get a timeout. Other sites (e.g., http://cran.stat.ucla.edu/) work fine for me. Lacking complete confidence this is a bug*, as well as any better notion of where to report this, I'm reporting it here. *I have had problems

Shortened service name results in inaccessible files
Hello, we are running samba 2.2.8a on debian 3.0 using kernel 2.5.71 (ok beat me for that, but the motherboard sucks!) for 100 Win2k clients. Two clients have been identified which repeatedly fail to open a certain tif file. I got the following error message: [2003/06/18 16:23:33, 0] smbd/service.c:make_connection(252) mmag-wrk-055 (10.100.1.133) couldn't find service teamfolde The

'homes' inaccessable, but the 'auto' named home is
I'm having a wierd problem I don't quite understand. For some users (me in particular) the 'homes' share cannot be accessed. Windows XP returns 'the sharename can't be found' or asks for a password. Supplying one doesn't help. Assing the 'named' autocreated version works fine. Every time. Then sometimes for no apparent reason 'homes' will

'inaccessible' via windows client
Please help I'm in despair having spent the last few days trying to resolve an issue with my Samba setup. I have 2 shares defined in my smb.conf. The first share is located on my primary disk (partion 1). No problem with this one (I can copy files to/from my Windows XP pcs). I added a second disk (250gb sata) and for now created 1 big ext3 partition. The second share is mounted on

Aquamacs Preferences not showing, windows inaccessible, Scrolling not possible !!!
Hi, sorry for bothering, but I suspect the start of M-x R within Aquamacs is causing my problems: *Scrolling* is *not possible*, neither by key stroke nor by mouse. Aquamacs does not show all windows. 'Prefences', 'About A.', 'Check fo updates' will not open. Menu 'windows' shows several windows, but clicking on them will not open their buffers. Also,

gcov report inaccessible
Hi, viewing the gcov coverage report (accessible via llvm.org -> Coverage in the left bar) yields a 403 access forbidden for most folders. For instance: http://llvm.org/reports/coverage/tools/clang/lib/Parse/index.html Coverage from llvm-cov is still available at http://lab.llvm.org:8080/coverage/coverage-reports/clang/index.html I assume the web server configuration is at fault.
