samba CTDB inability to create smb.conf cache
hi everyone
any experience with ctdb?
I'm setting up a simple cluster, only ldap backend instead
of tdb2.
One (of the two) server fails this way:

[PATCH] document inability to change v2 keys' comments with ssh-keygen
Hi,
ssh-keygen is unable to change version 2 keys' comments (this was true
in 2.9p2, and the changelog doesn't make me think this has changed),
so I think this should be documented. Here's a patch to ssh-keygen.1
(It's based on an ssh-keygen patched with my previous patch).
Cheers,
Matthew

When I attempt to connect from client (netware) to
server (freebsd) I see:

Agent Logoff inability when calls are being received from queue
Hello everybody,
I have started using Asterisk in a call center with ACD.
I have noticed something and I wonder if anyone knows whether it is a
bug or a feature!
I am using Queue application to ring a number of agents that have logged
on using AgentCallbackLogin.
Now, while an agent receives a call from the Queue they cannot logoff
using AgentCallbackLogin. Instead the Agent is asked for

[LLVMdev] Is there room for another build system?
2 more roadblocks for Visual Studio users are the inability to compile gcc
and the inability to compile and run the test suite. I would not want to
submit a change unless I could still compile/run gcc and pass the test
suite. (Testing before submission is the way we do it where I come from - I
am assuming it's the same here).
On a related note, has a...

POP3 LAST command?
Hello,
any plans to support this in the future? Seems the inability to
use LAST breaks that Yahoo remote mailbox slurper thing, not that
I care too much about that, but some mail clients might miss it
as well. ;)

Inability to proceed with installation of Windows app
I used to use Windows; now I use Linux. One application I used under
Windows was MS Money; under Linux, I've been using Gnucash instead.
However, Gnucash has been causing me some problems recently, so I
thought of trying to use Wine to run my old copy of MS Money under Linux.
I downloaded and installed an RPM of Wine for my distribution,
wine-core-0.9.16-2.fc3.i386.rpm. That done, I used

Frustrating inability to boot amd64
At this point, I've been through 4 AMD64 motherboards. Commonly,
AE_BAD_CHARACTER stops ACPI (or apic?) from figuring out the system
--- this has happened on 3 out of four boards. On this latest board,
it can turn off APIC. If I do that, FreeBSD hangs after detecting the
disks. The only "wrong" thing on the screen is

Chandler,
others have decided to let the compiler continue mis-compiling the
function-inlining example, others have decided to not fix the inability to hoist
a loop invariant divide out of a loop. It sounds like you haven’t even thought
about these things let alone be convinced by anything. Am I missing something
or have you forgotten what we are talking about here ?

Extension status as XML for an Aastra 57i
I'm in the process of converting our current hybrid key system to
Asterisk and Aastra 57i phones. One of the features that seems to be a
show stopper for almost everyone in the office is the inability to see
who is on the phone. Can someone point in the right direction to setup
an XML app on the phone so they can press a soft-button and get a list
of extensions and their statuses? I know I can use BLF and the line 2-4
buttons; but there are a lot more then 3 other people working here and
I'm...

HP-UX 11i and Inability to run Samba 3.0.x
I have been attempting to run the various permutations of Samba 3.0.x on
my site now for a couple of weeks, and I can find no way to get it working
properly. Either no one else is testing it, or there is something wrong
with some manner of settings on my machines -- and they are of multiple
classes adn different installs. I have one G70, one D380, and one 9000

...y QMP monitor commands to use them - you are forced
to use the legacy HMP interface to QEMU for mgmt. All of the workaround
providing interesting block storage mgmt is focused on external snapshots
(aka the backing_file option). There are some technical downsides to
internal snapshots IIUC, such as inability to free the space used by the
internal snapshot when it is deleted, loading/saving snapshots blocks
execution of the guest OS, and probably more I've forgotten about.
The only nice thing about internal snapshots is simplicity of mgmt, and
that is a very nice thing indeed, which is why virt-man...

Are you aware that Jansson can't parse all JSON generated by qemu, and
that the developers of Jansson did not seem sympathetic to patches that
would make it possible? Libvirt recently reverted their use of Jansson
because of its inability to deal with unsigned 64-bit numbers (and
sadly, RFC7159 does not define bounds for what forms valid JSON numbers,
but merely leaves it up to implementations to decide for themselves).
