HFSC and prioritization
I''m using HFSC to limit bandwidth for our wireless customers. However,
I''d also like the bandwidth prioritized based on packet type. This is
what I''m trying right now, and I''d just like some input from anyone out
there knowledgeable in this on whether it does what I want it to do:
Eth1 -> HFSC
........|-> HFSC (User1) (Min 512 Kb, Max 1024 Kb, Burst 1536

[PATCH] IMQ vs. local traffic

some reasons (probably some shortcut) they do have this flag and
IMQ egress queue is not on their way.
So I added this short test in imq_nf_hook and my soft lockups
are gone.

patch or eg. my yesterday version linux-2.6.17.4-imq0.

the quantity of imq device
HTB and imq was used to control traffic.
modprobe imq numdevs=3
but only imq0 and imq1 can be used;
if there are five NICs, please tell me how can I can
use imq2 , imq3
and so on.

tcpdump not working with imq0 devices

same kernel version 2.4.31, the same distribution debian woody)
and there is no problem with debuging interfaces by tcpdump command.
Have anybody solved the same problem?
Below some information about the strange router:
kernel - 2.4.31 with patch-o-matic-ng, imq-nat.diff,

iptables - v1.3.3 with iptables-1.3.0-imq1.diff

ingress can be used to control the incoming packet,

IMQ Stability
Hello all,
I have been doing a lot of archive searching over the last week reading
posts on IMQ and it''s apparent stability / instability. I have seen a
number of posts about it not being maintained as well. Can anyone talk to
me about IMQ''s stability in a heavy throughput environment (20 Mbps) and
what was causing IMQ to fail if you know.
