"BA020923.txt","BA020924.txt","BA020925.txt",
"BA020926.txt","BA020927.txt","BA020930.txt",

I want to imort all these data files into R at once without typing tedious

Thanks

Validation with has_many
I have two problems. I have a comment that has_many uploads. Before
saving the comment, I want to be sure that the upload(s) has passed
validation, but I also need to validate in other ways. For example, I
do not want to save the comment if there is no comment or upload. Or, I
do not want to save the comment if the image has been uploaded
previously (comparing md5s with past upload md5s

df to get total disk usage on all filesystems?
Is there a flag for the df command to get the total disk space used on
all filesystems as one number? I have a server with a lot of mounted
shares. I'm looking for a simple way to measure rate of data growth
across all shares as one total value.

Dual Opteron or Dual Xeon?
I am about to lease another server to be a backup web/mail server with a
replicated mysql database. The current live server is a dual Xeon
2.8Ghz. Would I do better to get another Xeon server or an Opteron
based server? My concerns are compatibility of the database and the SSL
certificate currently running on the Xeon machine. Are these concerns
unfounded?
TIA

ntlm_auth NT_STATUS_INVALID_HANDLE with windbind
I should use an authenticated proxy with Squid, but I have a problem

/usr/bin/ntlm_auth --username=myname --domain=MYCOMPANY
password: XXXX
NT_STATUS_INVALID_HANDLE: Invalid handle (0xc0000008)
wbinfo -a myname

samba 4 dns-update issue
Hi all,
I've setup samba4 according to the samba4 wiki on centOS 5.4 in KVM.
This went without any problems. I only had to install a higher version of
bind to 9.6.x because Centos bind in repo will install version 9.3.x.
I've used the Fedora12 source rpms for this to build bind 9.6.x on Centos
5.4.
Then I configured bind according to the samba wiki

Fwd: Migrating server
Yes please for the notes.
I re-ran the tests without the smbldap-tools. I installed phpldapadmin and
am able to login to the apache page using the cn=admin, dn=mydomain and
create entries. This kind of tells me that LDAP is working
Then I run the pdbedit -Lv and it lists all the users.
The following happens when I add the LDAP bits to smb.conf and restart
samba. The issue seems to be with samba
