repeat_every doesn''t tie in with first_run...
...more cron-ish behaviour, where it would start at
the first_run time and repeat based on that initial time.
Is this the proper behaviour? Personally, I like the cron style
better - it gives me tighter control, which might be required for
better resource utilization. If I want it to start running
immediatley, I can put in first_run Time.now.
Thoughts?

[scriptaculous] Intermitently Disabling Clicks
I have button that slides down a menu using Effect.BlindDown, but the
function that slides it down also makes it so that the opening link
now slides the menu back in.
If the user double clicks the link (thuse opening & closing
immediatley) the slide animation breaks, then will not extend
correctly (but no JS errors). How would you go about stopping this
happening?
Also, is it just me or is the wiki down more often that not?

remove mails from shared folders
...ke sure that only one user process a email.
Shared folders are created by symlink.
The problem is that, if a user move an email out of the email pool, the
other users still can see the mail in the pool.
It takes a long time to remove the mail from the pool for every user.
Move TO the pool works immediatley.
The user can make a "compress folder" to remove the emails but this
can't be the soulution.
Maybe this is a client failed (tested only with thunderbird)

Winbind offline logon
...OK when connected to the network, but when disconnected it gets out of order. When I pull the network plug and log out I cannot log with ssh as my personal user. I get (after a while) a notification that login is done witch cached credentials but the login fails. When I attempt to login again I am immediatley returned to the login prompt. Looking at the log it seems that the user is autheticated but the account is not found. The behaviour is similar if I log out and attempt a gui login.
The SID for my user seems to be retrieved OK, but winbind cannot retrieve user info for the sid. Eventually winbindd...

Seeking Advice on Pattern for Multi-Organization Application
I am the developer of FreeMIS - an Open Source management information
system for schools. It currently holds the data for one school - so
different schools host different instances of FreeMIS.
I would like to expand the domain of a single instance of FreeMIS, so
that it covers all the schools in an education authority. THis will
enable me to implement authority-wide functionality.

Unable to load cdr_adaptive_odbc.so
Hi all,
I am having trouble getting cdr_adaptive_odbc to work.
I have correctly configured the odbc drivers and dsn (I have tested
this by connecting directly using isql). I have also configured
/etc/asterisk/cdr_adaptive_odbc.conf like so:
[test-asterisk]
connection=test-asterisk-odbc
table=cdr
I have tested the ODBC connection test-asterisk-odbc and it works correctly
However when I try to

Samba-winbind under Solaris8
...under Linux (SLES9, RHEL4) but not under Solaris8. I really have no clue, but that is just one problem. The other big problem is that now i get kicked out of the login shell or telnet/ssh after a few minutes and when I login as a domain user and start a command like ls it gets put in the background immediatley.
Any suggestions?
Regards,
Oliver

systems). Well, the copious amounts of JFS records were flooding the
syslog server and causing it to back up, blocking further attemtps to
write to syslog while the back up was being flushed to disk.
Every startup script uses initlog to write the output of the startup
to syslog, so the scripts immediatley following the start of the
syslogger were blocking, presumably due to syslogd's buffer being
full.

user login passwords are mixed up
...org/mailman/options/samba
thank you! I found "Enforce Password History" in the GPO. It is set to 24
per default, so that the password has to be changed to 24 new passwords
before an old password can be changed to again... but to disable that
means that users can reuse their old password immediatley if they are
prompted for a new one... yet it is also annoying that the old ones are
still valid... I'd rather change the OldPasswordAllowedPeriod. But I do
not know how to do that...

user login passwords are mixed up
Hello,
Some users in my domain report that they have to use different (old)
passwords on different computers. They say that they still have to use
their "old" passwords after they changed it. My domain setup is that users
are asked to automatically change their password on Windows 7 Enterprise
after some months. So they have to do that. Otherwise they cannot login.
But why is it, that
