gpxelinux questions

UUID, MAC address, then hex IP address chop ?
3) Can gpxelinux load gpxe scripts at all ?
4) How does gpxelinux really work, It looks like a gpxelinux is a
slightly modified version of gpxe which simply executes pxelinux.0 as
it's default gpxe script:

dhcp net0
imgload pxelinux.0
boot pxelinux.0
Does pxelinux.0 detect that it's been invoked by gpxelinux.0 and
enable the HTTP, FTP, NFS, iSCSI and AOE code ?
Sorry for all the questions, but I couldn't find much info out there
on the wiki.
Any answers hugely appreciated, the more detail the better!

Problems with gpxelinux and Broadcom 57711
...script compiled into gpxelinux.0:

The PHP script dynamically creates a config file that looks something
like this:
#!gpxe
set 209:string pxelinux.cfg/default
set 210:string http://IP_of_closest_server/tftpboot/
imgload pxelinux.0
boot pxelinux.0
The whole point is to enable HTTP transfers of ISO images that we boot
from the net.
The 460c G6:s fetch gpxelinux.0 but gPXE fails to get the config from
the webserver, "Connection timed out (0x4c116035)". I've attached a

I'm facing a strange issue with memdisk
The context :
syslinux 3.75
gpxelinux.0
the gpxe stript called from a menu executed through menu.c32 :

kernel /modules/memdisk initrd=/freedos
initrd /freedos
The output before the freeze :
